Steak was a little tough, but great flavor, the salad was nice, the green beans was an other worldly experience, not in a good way, they were glazed in some form of sweet teriyaki sauce, very unusual. Steak flavor was really nice juicy and herby, other than a little tough was a good experience overall. Price is definitely on the high end for the area

Never had the food but I called to place an order and this lady placing my order was being very rude & condescending while I placed the order so I hung up. Never trying it now. Sorry not sorry.

Waited over an hour for our food and they wasn’t busy at all. Will never be back!!! Would never ever ever ever recommend this place. Was tempted to walk out. Server never gave us any updates on our food. At least the food was good.

Sadly, we’ve been here twice. First time the food was amazing but it took an hour and a half. Waitress apologized (wasn’t her fault) but we chalked it up to being short handed. 2nd time was worse. It wasn’t even very busy (maybe 4 tables). Took 2 hours and the food was raw!! Table next to us was complaining and also sending back food. They took food back twice and it was cold by the time the steak was cooked medium!! Such a disappointment that we’re afraid to ever go back again.

This might just be my favorite place to eat in Bolivar, highly recommend the deep fried deviled eggs and grilled zucchini, owner is super nice and staff stay on top of making sure you are all set for a great meal.

Finally got around to trying this place, and was not disappointed! The 8oz sirloin was delicious, and the service was excellent. I would have appreciated a little bit larger portion of the grilled zucchini, but other than that, definitely a 5-star experience. Great to have such a nice restaurant right here in Bolivar!

This is a great place to eat!
Came here two days in a row for lunch and I was blown away by the food.
I can see why they have a permanent location.

My lady and I got chicken fried chicken and the db's barbecue bacon burger, we split both in half and shared. Both meals were perfectly prepared and delicious! Will definitely be coming back!

Debbie was a friendly and attentive ?
The dinner special was ok. It was drowning in sauce and over Salted. The food overall was good better than Flat Creek(better value). We enjoyed the different menu items it just was poorly executed. Chicken, shrimp and Salmon were overcooked and chewy. I think maybe putting the sauce on the side would have helped a lot. Portion sizes were good.
We were very impressed by the dinning utensils! Heavy glasses, beautiful plates and silverware. The overall environment when you walk in seems drab. The music can be turned up a hair so you don’t hear people breathing.
Definitely coming back and recommend to try. Perfect for date night. One of the better places in town!

Do not let the old style cafeteria chairs and tables fool you! This place has great food! I am a green bean connoisseur (cooked but still crispy) and these were delicious. The mashed potatoes were perfect. My husband’s steak was tender and cooked perfectly, but shockingly we both agreed that the chicken bacon ranch wrap was the best. I love that it wasn’t dripping in ranch, and the bacon was quality not quantity. Yum. I’m not a wrap fan, but I’m already planning a trip back from Springfield for that one. This place puts Flat Creek to shame for the quality of food, so I hope it is way way busier next time I go in. Parking is easy, and there’s a lovely little courtyard that would be pretty great for outdoor seating in the future.

16 oz rib eye was cooked spot on. I'm a very picky person when it comes to my steak. Not to often do I find a chef that can cook a steak the way I cook it. The perfect medium rare. We also started with the shrimp scampi bread bowl. That was also top notch. The atmosphere is calming. I wished I knew this place was here long before now. The only thing I would advise for the owner.... don't change anything. Don't change the way you are doing business. I got the since that you only buy what you are going to sell. This means fresh food!!! Nothing left in the fridge here!!! So many get lost in trying to get big and loose the love of the food. I much rather pay $36 for a grade A steak in a not so busy restaurant then to pay $25 for a Texas road house steak where it's so loud that you can't hear each other speak with the crap shoot that your steak will be done right. Thanks so much for the great food with the great service!!!!
