El Rodeo is one of the best spots in Bolivar for a good meal. The food is always good and the service is excellent. Prices are a little on the mid-to-high side for the area, but the quality makes it worth it. Highly recommend trying the mix fajitas with corn tortillas.
My husband and I are from out of town and wanted Mexican food for lunch, we looked up the Mexican restaurants in Bolivar and found El Rodeo. We both had a great experience. The chips and salsa are amazing compared to the Mexican restaurants in our area, the food was hot and delicious, we both stayed full for hours after, my husband had sweet tea and he said it tasted great and it was really fresh. Cute restaurant. Staff was very attentive. The chips and salsa are pretty good and so was the fried ice cream and sopapilla. The food was a different story. I had the ground beef taco salad and it was very wet and not tasty. My mom had the beef tip super burrito and it also wasn’t exceptionally tasty and she said it wasn’t very warm. The guacamole was blended to death with not a lot of flavor. Nothing like a fresh ingredient was anywhere near it. Nothing was enticing enough...
