We waited 30 minutes while the car in front of us at the service window, and the worker just chatted. Not a single thing was handed out until later. Which was a drink and a small bag. Then, when we pulled up, we waited 5 minutes, and no one came to the window. All we wanted was 2 large cherry limades. Instead, we had our time wasted and never got our order.

Sonic is an in-and-out drive-in. Great for a quick treat. Service at the Bolivar location was fast and friendly, and our drinks were made to our request.
I love the app and have had very few, if any, issues with our orders. However the app can be a little laggy when attempting to change the location where you want to order.

Vegetarian options: The Supersonic Cheeseburger is hard to beat.

Parking: Sonic is a drive-in, normally 20+ spots

Kid-friendliness: My kids always loved going to Sonic

They messed up my order twice the same day. Ordered a #1 and a #3 Got home and both cheeseburgers were chicken. I called and told a lady that they messed up my order and she right away said to come and they will fix it. Got to the drive thru, and another young lady said we already have it ready. Got home and was plain burgers with everything in it. Which we specified one cheeseburger plain and dry. The other one with only mayo. No sonic for us for a while. Very disappointed. Oh and the receipt was still attached. Obviously they didn't even check our order again.

My friend recently got a job the Sonic in Bolivar Mo, I started going more often to support them (Going from at least once every 1/2 months to once every two weeks) and today, I went to order a Hot Fudge Milkshake- Only when I went to pull around to pay for it, I was told by the seemingly new cashier:

"I uh... Don't think we have tap pay..."

I could sworn that I've done tap pay here before- especially since EVERY fast food place in Bolivar HAS tap pay (So if you honestly don't have tap pay, please get it...), I can understand new trainees so I didn't think much of it.

Giving a sigh and thinking fast, I tell her that I'll pull into a stall and order via mobile order, (which I didn't want to do- I wanted to be in and out this time around because I wanted to go watch the new Venom movie with time to shower and everything, and I figured since I just told the lady at window that I'll pull into a stall and pay via mobile order- that they would just bring it out since it was already made. It was then I noticed something while reflecting on the situation; everyone inside was different, none of the usual employees were there; even the different car hop didn't know where to go- she was looking at the receipt while looking at the numbers above the stalls. I haven't ever had a bad experience until now. Not sure where everyone who knew what they were doing went- but I will most likely not be back if they are this incompetent and slow. Normally I have the patience of a saint; but having to wait to pull up and then move to a stall and wait even more is unacceptable especially for a shake that was already made.

The shake was also somewhat salty for a Hot Fudge Shake.
