I think about this dinner in the this way, it has the feel of sitting in your mother's kitchen and having lunch and taking too catch up, it gives you the feeling of love and home . Luke Christian
Extremely rude staff, definitely not kid friendly! Staff will try to fight you if your child makes a mess. Please avoid!
Had breakfast with the kids and grandkids this morning. Based on the number of patrons and open tables, it did not seem like they were busy I would say roughly 50%
We were greeted and seated promptly.
It was a few minutes before a waitress came to take our order, we gave them the children’s order first so that they would come out quickly, And our drink orders.
She left, brought back coffee and the orange juice for the kids. So far so good.
And then we waited. After several minutes, she brought out two plates of food, which were not the grandkids meals, indicating that those were up and still hot so she wanted to bring them out. When asked where the grandkids meals were at, she noted that someone else had picked them and delivered them to another table.
The waitress was working hard to be helpful, she was apologetic, but clearly the kitchen staff were struggling.
Within a few minutes, she brought out the rest of the meals, apologizing for the delay.
The food was great, it was hot, and tasty.
Ordered tenderloin sandwich with fries. OMG the biggest tenderloin it made the bun look small. Awesome texture, tender and good flavor.
Had a fly on napkins. Hamburgers were cook to a charcoal crisp. Way over cooked. Hash browns crispy on one side barely cooked on the other. Gravy had to much pepper. When told hostess about the food she kinda blew it off. This was the worst time we have ever had in there.
The food was poorly cooked. Hash browns were brown on one side and raw on the other, burger was burnt, fries were burnt. When the lady asked how the meal was, we said bad, she didn't even comp any meals but charged the full price.
I loved there biscuits and gravy
There is such a wide variety of food to choose from and everything is well cooked. Service is quick and friendly, they are great with substitutions. The bakery goods are fresh and flavourful, you have to try their cinnamon bread! The newer coffee bar feature is good. Love that they offer pick up and can be delivered through door dash. One of the more expensive places to eat in Bolivar but worth it! Love the all day breakfast!

The food is awesome. The service is usually really great. The atmosphere is good. Almost always busy, and the food usually comes out rather quickly. We visit here quite often.
Parking: When the restaurant is busy parking is hard to find lol. But we find places to park.

It is the perfect cafe! Great food, great family atmosphere, and reasonably priced food that is fresh and large portions!
Living on a fixed income, we can still go out to eat and have a great experience.

My wife and I tried your Cafe this morning.
Was given a menu and I saw the menu which is a typical every day menu..... then I saw your price's OMG WOW but the wife wanted to try it I wanted to leave. The wife ordered some avocado breakfast meal which she's weird like that but because of the price's I just ordered B&G even though at that price I thought it maybe it came with maybe an egg or 2 or maybe the B&G was homemade...... Omg I was WRONG.
What I got was thaw and served biscuits with just water and heat up gravy.
If you're going to charge the price's you charge, the quality of food better reflect that I mean come on people how much profit do you need to make on something that at YOUR cost to make is probably $ 00.65 to $ 00.85 per biscuit and $00.10 per serving gravy.

Cute restaurant, needed some tlc overall but good food. 7- 10 for us. Compared to a Dennys and a bakery combined. The menu has a lot going on, definitely something for everyone. Food was good I liked the different options and styles they have. I had the Santa Barbara Burger it had a sweetish bun on it good fries. Husband had the Walleye and fries it was big and juicy. Wished he had more tarter sauce, had one little tbsp for two giant filets. The coleslaw is the only thing we didn’t like; it was so watery like they ran out of ingredients. It was really nice to have a large selection of deserts. My biggest issue was the cleanliness. Floors looked horrible and walls very grody. Staff was super nice and welcoming, otherwise definitely coming back again.
Parking: Tight to get in and out of for trucks.
Kid-friendliness: Kids menu is not healthy but kids would eat it
