I parked in front of the coffee saloon to go into the neighboring health food store. The restaurant was closed but the only spot to park in was the last spot in front of the saloon. The owner came out and acted like we were parked illegally so we moved to the next available spot in front of the hardware store.
We were parked in a legal spot on a public street. Her business was closed! I just think it was rude.

I did not give every detail of my experience meeting you, because I am a nice person. So, you asked for this with your sorry excuse trying to justify your rich country barbie I own this street behavior. Im from this area, you aren't. You are here to make money. Your actions define YOU. Do you often ask patrons of neighbors to move their vehicles to accomidate your selfish needs? Was that the grief? No, you were thinking about yourself and you had to walk extra to carry in groceries. Are you physically unable to carry in your stock? I understand if thats an issue. Or was the news team on the way for your spotlight?
When we pulled up, your vehicle was parked next to us. You yourself were taking up 2 spaces. Why didn't you move?
I realize that my 5'4 stature can be intimidating at 118 pounds, and the 64 year old DISABLED VETERAN who i was with is a marine... but why you felt the need to protect Amber from us is unclear. She was at the front door . She was quite safe. He is disgusted by me posting this because he is a man of honor and respect. He doesn't want attention. Just wanted to go to town...
I know about the accident. I saw the chaos on my 3 hour ride home from work that day. Driving slowly by knowing that someone must have died . You could smell death in the air. It was so sad. Three other people died. You didn't mention them. Your in person interview on channel 4 was more about your business than the tragedy. Did you plan the hats for that other business in town? Just curious. They might need to profit over tragedy, just like you. Was the news team on the way at this point? You managed to call them amidst your grief. I told you I was a local. Why didn't you offer comfort? Oh.... cuz we intimidated you. What a joke. I even shook your hand. If you remember, I tried to introduce my companion and he was so embarrassed by your treatment he walked on by.
I do not accept your apology.
You are self righteous and think you own the street.
A wheelchair couldn't even make it down the public sidewalk because of all your basic junk . You have rusty metal surrounding a pole and have to squeeze thru.... I guess you own that as well.
Don't bother trying to crawdad on me.
You wear a coat of many colors. Not the one Dolly wore. You modernized that coat with bigger pockets to fill. You showed your true colors to me. GREEN.
Your business was closed. Your neighbors business was open.... it is all about you. I forgot.
You used this tragedy as an excuse for ugly behavior and to advertise and profit.
Absolutely disgusting.
No matter the quality of your food, the most important ingredient is love. You showed where your love lies so it must taste awful.
I wasn't even welcome when you were closed.
Sucks for you. I am pretty amazing.

Such a cute place. Great vibe, coffee, service and food. The biscuits and gravy was a huge portion for the price. I loved the eggs Benedict with bacon, not super traditional; little heat. We took some desserts home and loved both the dolly cake and gooie butter cake.

My sister and I were headed to western Missouri, and thankfully she remembered hearing about this little gem tucked away south of interstate 44 in Bourbon. From start to finish, our experience was wonderful. Michelle, one of the owners, took the time to welcome us and guide our culinary choices. We thoroughly enjoyed the fresh quinoa salad, to which we added some perfectly seasoned shredded chicken for added protein. (They were more than happy to accommodate dietary preference/restrictions) She then recommended their latte with bourbon-infused heavy cream. Absolutely delicious, and not too sweet. Our initial plan to avoid dessert was foiled when we laid eyes on their glass case of baked goods. The orange cake? YUUUUUM!! Let's talk about that icing, shall we? It was not too sweet and had a delicate orange essence. Delicious food aside, we loved the ambience. There are fresh flowers on each table, a mellow sweet pup that'll steal your place on one of the sofas, the homage to Dolly in the corner at the back, the delightful patio out back with a canoe planter. Need we say more? We loved our visit and can't wait to return!

A truly outstanding experience. If you are near Bourbon, stop by. The food was spectacular - feels farm to table. The coffee fresh. And the pastries perfect.

We enjoyed the panini with the chicken soup for lunch and then had a slice of chocolate cake afterwards.

The ambience is peaceful - can’t recommend enough. We’ll definitely be back!

If you're in the Bourbon MO area, a stop there is a must. Super nice ambiance, extremely friendly owners, fantastic patisseries and heavenly coffee. This was my salvation today for getting on my bike in the rain.

Located on the Main Street in Bourbon, it’s very welcoming upon approach. They serve delicious food, and have a very friendly and cordial staff. Inside is a comfortable environment best described as a well put together, cozy decor, a relaxing atmosphere, and very tasty good sized portions. The experience was great!

Lovely coffee/breakfast place. The quiche was to die for and the Vanilla chai latte was just what the doctor ordered on a cold December day. We had the pleasure to listen to some live music as well. Dolly, the cafe dog greets everyone personally with a tail wag. We will definitely be back!
