Located on the Main Street in Bourbon, it’s very welcoming upon approach. They serve delicious food, and have a very friendly and cordial staff. Inside is a comfortable environment best described as a well put together, cozy decor, a relaxing atmosphere, and very tasty good sized portions. The experience was great!

Lovely coffee/breakfast place. The quiche was to die for and the Vanilla chai latte was just what the doctor ordered on a cold December day. We had the pleasure to listen to some live music as well. Dolly, the cafe dog greets everyone personally with a tail wag. We will definitely be back!

My wife and I found the Bourbon Café and Coffee Saloon by doing a Google search on the road while driving from Springfield, Missouri to Columbus, Ohio. It was just what we were looking for. The atmosphere is very warm and friendly, and the food is great. The owner Michelle is a very lovely and kind lady. Her hospitality is really exceptional. This place is only a couple of minutes off the freeway. If you are travelling through Missouri on I-44, do yourself a favor and stop here for coffee or lunch. You’ll be glad that you did!

What a wonderful gem of a coffee shop! Coffee - great, food - delicious, atmosphere - can’t be beat. The owner is so personable. We stumbled upon this place thanks to Google. And we plan to come here again when we’re driving through. It’s definitely worth taking time to visit!

I adored this place! Atmosphere was enough to keep me coming back. Food good, service a little slow but it is not a place you'd want to rush out of...I will definitely visit again from St James.
The folk singers and Dolly the dog made it so special!

Such an enjoyable place. We came for lunch and I had the breakfast panini and some gluten free pumpkin coffee cake. DELICIOUS! The service from the staff was exceptional. The coffee was tasty too. Everything was so good we came back again the next day. This is a must-stop if you're in the area.

Dietary restrictions: They have a number of gluten-free options, even capable of accommodating someone with celiac disease.

The food is great and it's very cute inside. We used to go all the time. But then the crowd and the vibe became increasingly religious and we began to feel unwelcome so we haven't been for a while.

I don't like restaurants. I can make it better, cheaper at home. I am an introvert, and hate to go out. I am a gluten-free vegetarian and am always disappointed in my choices. I hate that the ingredients aren't real....margarine, creamer, etc. So, I am shocked at how much I love this place! The atmosphere is stunning, so much to take in. There was live music with breakfast!!!! Good music! Everyone was so friendly. Not just the staff, the other patrons acted like we were family! Then there is the food. I had an egg and cheese panini on gf bread. GF bread is cardboard. This tasted like sourdough, great texture! The panini was cooked in butter with spices. Each bite was a delight! GF ooweey gooweey butter cake, warmed with real, fresh whipped cream! I was even given my choice of corner, middle or edge! And coffee that I am still dreaming of....bourbon syrup in great coffee with real whipped cream over ice! If I lived nearby I would take a part-time job to be able to afford to eat there every day! Good thing I live far away! Michelle has created the perfect dining experience. Don't miss it!

Every employee here was amazing and welcoming. I loved all the cute dogs roaming and the cute decorations throughout. The food is top notch and i LOVE that they change it every week.
I had the cold brew with their signature bourbon flavor and it was to die for. Their desserts are literally out of this world amazing.
I seriously recommended this place. 5/5 without a doubt. I don’t see how this place could disappoint anyone.

What a unique and charming place! We stopped for breakfast/lunch during our road trip. The food was delicious and homemade! Best meal of the trip. Especially the meat loaf panini. Great vegetarian options too. The owner is so cool and kind. There was live music, and a very warm welcome atmosphere. We hope to return one day.

While in town for a bicycle ride/race a few weeks back I discovered the BEST PLACE to enjoy coffee and a meal. The avocado toast was recommended and did not disappoint. Left my mouth happy and my tummy full. The owner was hands on and full of knowledge. Definitely recommend and will return when we pass through again.
