Moving reviews over from Yelp. This was written in 2016 and I've never been back. I understand there’s a new owner and if I find myself in the area, I’ll give them another shot.
Good but not great. I enjoy a hot sub and their product is alright but there were a couple of missteps on my visit.
1. It was CLEAR to me that I represented a distraction for the girl working the counter as she was far more interested in poking at her phone that taking my order. She seemed annoyed that I showed up at the end of their lunch rush.
2. I had their signature sub. The girl rang it up wrong on the first go-around and then the product that reached my table didn't match the description on the wall. I really like Dijon mustard on a sandwich but I'm pretty ambivalent about the spicy brown variant. Wanna guess which was included in the written description and which one landed on my sandwich? Hint: the substitution did not increase the enjoyment of my lunch.
The sandwich itself was pretty good. Bread is made in-house and it's toasted to a crispiness that is well short of drying it out. Meats were all good but nothing special. Veggies were all fresh.
Service sucked but that could just be a factor of the day. What can't be attributed to the day is the deviation from the menu. I asked one of the employees about it before leaving and she told me they don't have Dijon mustard, just the spicy brown. Not cool, dudes!

A little slow but SOOO clean, beautiful decorations, amazing bathrooms, a little pricey but the planet sub was lovely. Also they have a Coke freestyle machine!!

We decided to stop by on our way from STL to Rolla. Honestly a stroke of luck we were hungry for subs and found this place randomly on Google. Atmosphere is very modern with a groovy vibe. The shop is brand new. Cleanliness 5/5. Service was 5/5. Our loaded potato soup was a bit disappointing. More like a cream of potatoes soup. Not nearly enough cheese, bacon, potatoes or salt. Lack of starch left it runny. 3/5 at best. However the Dagwood Sub was on point. The fresh bread was light and the perfect amount. Meat had a nice roast from the oven. I really dig the horseradish on this sub. It was not overpowering and added a nice flavor profile. The sub was perfectly balanced with everything which was definitely a 5/5 in our books. We will be stopping thru again. Very impressed for our first visit!!

Ordered the Hippie Pizza and it was sooo good! Carly provided most excellent service with her extensive pizza knowledge and cool vibe. Thanks for a great lunch Planet Sub! We ate most of the pizza before I could get a good pic... because it was sooo good 👍
