Deb and I pulled off the road when the weather continued to worsen. Cars, pick-ups, and semis were sliding off the road in front of and all around us.We drove into Bowling Green MO and ended up in Forever Primitives & luncheonette, trying to decide what to do next.They provided us coffee and cookies along with immediate shelter from the growing storm. We decided to find lodging close by and wait for the storm to pass.We returned the next morning for an incredible breakfast. These folks are GREAT! I can't imagine a better place to have a nice meal. It was delicious! We will forever be indebted to them for their caring, hospitality and friendliness.When in Bowling Green Missouri stop in at the Forever Primitives & Luncheonette for THE BEST hospitality, service, and delicious food!

Interesting little diner. It appears that it actually occupies three buildings. They have a small menu which isn't a bad thing. I tried the ham and cheese omelette with sourdough bread and hash browns. The omelette was small, possibly egg and a half maybe two with a little bit of ham and cheese. The sourdough toast was too toasted for my taste but also didn't taste much like sourdough. The hash browns were good for hash browns but I'm not a big hash brown fan. Overall, I would say the meal was ok at best. The bathroom is a single use bathroom that barely latches and a gap around door that can be looked through. The waiter we had was very good. Overall, I was not particularly impressed.

Lovely charm and quick service, with a nice selection of locally sourced wines, ect. Craig is very personable and Cindy is an excellent hostess. Food is a 10/10, amazing sandwiches and salads, and if you're ever lucky enough to catch one of their specials, I wouldn't miss it for the world.An overall fantastic place to stop for breakfast or lunch.

We saw that they carried a certain brand of wine that we love. Walked in and were welcomed with open arms. It was like we walked into some old friends house. The selection of wines were great. We are definitely going back for breakfast or lunch soon.

Needed a place to lunch since Bankhead Candies is not serving right now. They told us about this place and we just loved it. The sandwiches were simply delicious, the salad fresh and yummy. Loved the old building, the cute decor and friendly staff. Will definately go back!

If you like biscuits and scrambled eggs and nothing else this is the place for you. Also, enjoy the extremely sour lemonade. Don't ask for a water to replace it or else it comes out dirty.
