Many thanks to Merna’s Kitchen in Bowling Green for catering our family reunion we held this past weekend in Louisiana, MO. We had Ribeye sandwiches, grilled chicken breasts, cheesy hash brown casserole, broccoli salad and Merna’s salad. Everything was delicious!! The kiddos enjoyed mac & cheese and chicken strips. She even brought the meat and potatoes in a hotbox to keep it the perfect temperature until we ate. We were so happy to have ordered extra so we had leftovers for the next day!! We give her 5 stars and highly recommend Merna’s Kitchen for your next event!!!

I was in Bowling Green a year ago. This location has changed hands. Myrna’s Kitchen started as a food truck. She now is serving at this new location. The Chocolate Strawberry Pie was out of this world?

Enjoyed a Cobb salad with fresh ingredients and a glass of iced tea. My only regret is I forgot to get chocolate strawberry pie to go. Good service despite only being their second day.

Had lunch here with my husband this afternoon on their opening day. We both ordered the ribeye steak sandwich special. He got the fries, I had the cucumbers and onions and a slice of the chocolate pie with strawberries. The steak was tender & well seasoned on a soft roll, the fries were crispy, the cucumbers were sweet and the pie was light & creamy, with fresh strawberries sliced on top. Everything was delicious! The restaurant was clean and homey and the staff was friendly and the prices were reasonable.
