It's been a few years since I've been at the Saints Avenue Cafe in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Great food and great service!

If I could give zero stars I would. We got there 25 minutes before they switched to lunch and they had no eggs, no hash browns and very little else to choose from on the buffet and buffet was the only choice. My husband didn’t eat anything and they still charged for his meal. Even if the buffet was full, the food didn’t look great. You should probably just do McDonald’s or Taco Bell which are right next to the diner.

We will never dine here again. The owner was extremely rude and the food was boring. The best part of our dining experience was the friendly wait staff. The owner however did not hide his very bad attitude. He was upset that a few customers were pulling trailers which caused them to take up extra parking spaces. He stomped around the dining room, glared at his paying customers and was very verbal about wanting people towed off his property because they were “blocking his parking lot” The food was just ok. The fried chicken had no flavor. The salmon was dry. The fried fish, shrimp, okra were decent. The salad bar was ok. The slices of pie were dry. When we travel, we like to support local business but this buffet restaurant was a bad experience and we do not recommend.

Fathers Day 2022. On the road back from Nashville. Stopped for fuel in Bowling Green and decided to eat here. My wife, my 9 year old daughter and I. Food was meh….but expected for a buffet!!!! But $20 a person!!!!! Even for my 9 year old!!!! 3 people and total bill was $64!!!!! I’ve paid less for seafood buffet at high end casinos!!!! Luckily we won’t be back in this area. Hope they can stay in business charging customers prices like that and with food that bad!!!! Good luck!!!

This is a gem. You have to stop and enjoy all the wonderful flavors that they offer. Order the Buffett and that’s what you get. Roast Beef, Fried Chicken and all the fix’ns that go with this. Do not pass by this place. A must.

St. Avenue Buffet in Bowling Green was very good. Food was fresh, hot and tasty. The restaurant including the bathrooms were clean. But it's only a buffet. No menu. However the buffet has a salad bar, the main course bar and desert bar. There was plenty of food to choose from.

Awesome comfort food buffet! Absolutely fresh and delicious, with great service. Highly recommended.

This was the WORST! We were hoping for a small town cafe rather than fast food for lunch. No menu, only buffet, which would have been ok. But the food on the buffet was horrible. Everything was swimming in water….noodles, corn, peas, meatballs. It doesn’t deserve 1 star.

Went in for breakfast at 11am because their Facebook page said they didn’t open until 11. Less than half the buffet was breakfast and the rest was lunch. So we are what they had on there for breakfast but when got our bill we were charged $13.99 for a dinner buffet. When asked if breakfast and dinner buffets were the same price, I was told no. So I pointed out that we were charged for a dinner buffet and was told breakfast ended at 11am. When I told them that their hours said they didn’t open until 11am, they looked at me like I was crazy and told me they only have one Facebook page and it doesn’t have hours of operation on it. I was also told by what I think was the manager, that “there so many of them” but the one they go by is the one with no hours of operation and wanted to argue the fact that they do have at least page with the wrong hours. I wasn’t going to stand there and argue with her while her waitresses stood there trying to find the page I was referring to so I just went ahead and paid it to avoid dealing with her any longer. On top of it all the food was ok at best and for being on a steam table as long as seemed it was, it was still cold. Needless to say we won’t be eating here again.

The new owners have done well. They will have me as long as they keep Mountain Dew! Good service, great comfort food and family Friendly.

Didn't have much to choose from. The salad bar looked old lettuce was brown. Didn't like how the food wasn't labeled. The desserts were dried out from sitting out to long. It was over priced for how small the buffet was. For what little food they had to choose from it was good

Arrived late evening about 3 hours before closing. Food on the buffet looked dry and like it had been sitting there for a long time. Next to the tortilla chips was a pan with a substance that I believe was nacho cheese but the color of it was closer to that of refried beans, and I was not brave enough to find out. More than once I had to walk around the restaurant to find a staff member for refills and rolls. To top off the evening, the server added a tip to my card even tho I had marked a line going across where it asked if I wished to leave a tip because I had left a cash tip on the table and even told her that I had done so.

Restaurant had an odor that I didn't like and it wasn't from the food. Food was okay but bland. Salad bar was excellent. Carpet looks extremely soiled.
