Stopped in after reading about them in Rural Missouri magazine and enjoyed a great lunch and walked away with fresh tomatoes, zucchini, and beautiful head of lettuce. Thank you for an enjoyable afternoon and the drive through the country was awesome.
Turtle Gulch was well worth our one hour drive to experience this unique shop. Our sandwich and salad were the real deal FRESH! Melissa was genuinely interested in our produce purchase and answered all of our questions. We are planning our return visit soon!
It's a deli that also sells some fresh produce etc. I bought a Hamilicious sandwich, tomato soup that came with a cookie and a bag of chips. I also had a fountain Dr. Pepper that was from the better premix style fountain that was a very welcome treat. To top it off I picked up a selection of chocolate truffles and a heavenly top I believe it was called? It is a chocolate covered caramel with nuts instead similar to a turtle.
