Went for Mother In Law's birthday. It was good, waitress was nice, food was alright.

What actually happed to this place. As a local it’s hard to find cheap food and drinks at a casual restaurant here. We used to come all the time but tonight was our last time. We stayed for a total of 8 minutes before being so baffled by the horrible excuse of waitstaff and management. Here’s a play by play.

Empty restaurant with maybe 4 tables occupied total. The host happened to be the “manager”. Cool. No problem with that. We requested a booth which wasn’t a huge ask. He said absolutely and within the 30 second walk he placed our menus at a table. When we hesitated to sit down he finally remembered that we asked for a booth. I get it. Slip ups happen. No biggie.

We proceed to sit down and the manager explains every last detail front to back opening with “ this is a menu. It has everything we have that you can order”. I was so tempted to say that this wasn’t our first time. After explanation of how our menu works, he then told us our server will arrive momentarily. So you wasted all that time for nothing? There is a line when hospitality can turn into just a nuisance.

Then our server, Rosawn. Great introduction but that rapidly changed. Took our drink order and totally messed it up. We asked for a frozen strawberry margarita. Bartender asked the server if it was frozen or rocks. (She recognized us and knows what we normally order). Our server confidently told her rocks and she began making the drink. In passing I asked the server “that margarita was frozen right?” He said oh my bad let me go fix that. The bartender then got extremely upset with him because she already started making the drink. We finally get our drinks and the “strawberry” margarita was actually rang up as a Raspberry. It was also 85% alcohol and 15% blended ice to the point where it wasn’t even consumable. At this point we were ready to just get out of there. We flag the manager that was cleaning tables down and let him know that we were ready to close out. He didn’t even apologize for the service because he didn’t see any problem with it. When I brought up the issues we experienced they proceeded to laugh and start using profanity when all we wanted to do was leave.

In a seasonal town that businesses rely on locals to get through the off season, they sure know how to push people away. From my understanding they have gone to completely new management. Just new. Not improved.

Went here a month or so ago and hostess was miserable, went there today and that same hostess was the best hostess I have ever seen, really incredible.

I’m guessing she gets abused frequently by customers and was probably having a horrible day last time we went through there.

Servers both times were awesome best of the best.

Food is good, they are definitely understaffed but they do the best they can.

Recommend stopping here if you do not have the time to wait in long lines.

Stopped by Applebee’s the other night and it was packed! The kitchen was running behind, but our server Rosawn was incredible. He kept us laughing, made sure our drinks were always filled up, and kept us in the loop about our food. Even though it was busy, he made us feel like we were his only table. By the time the food came, we’d almost forgotten about the wait because he made the whole experience so enjoyable. Shoutout to Rosawn for turning a hectic night into a great one!”

Hostess was not the mostest. Barely spoke and never smiled,looked like she was on her last leg.
Our waitreas was very sweet and attentive. The food, I had a Cajun dish that had no spices, overcooked and dry. Very disappointed. But thw tea was great.

Always a great atmosphere! They have great lunch specials and half price appetizers EVERY night from 9-close and Monday-Friday from 3-5! Staff is very friendly and the food is always great! And a little birdie told me they will be adding a build your own trio appetizer later this month🥳 I’m soo excited 🥳

Our server tonight was fantastic (I’m so sorry, I forget his name. We sat in the back of the restaurant facing 76). He was very quick, kind and great at multitasking. We weren’t too impressed with the food. It seems like the quality of the food has gone downhill over the years. But the service certainly made up for it. Please pass along to the gentleman that he was great!

Wednesday August 6th at 7:00 p.m. I felt like taking my family out for dinner, my kids picked Applebee's. We got there wasn't very busy so we didn't really expect a wait which was awesome. Walked into lobby and waited for somebody to greet us and seat us. Instead they took our name and told us 15 minutes which didn't really make a lot of sense to us because there were plenty and I mean plenty of tables available. There was another family waiting and we got to chatting and they got there about 5 min before us. Mind you as we are chatting there is nobody checking to see how we are. 20 minutes pass in the family before us finally throws in the hat we were not too far behind about 2 minutes later.. still no hostess came back. This made absolutely no sense as they were adequately staffed. I blame management just as much as the employees. 0s across the board and as much as I wanted Applebee's I couldn't justify giving them my money and anymore of my time. We went elsewhere to spend our money. Somebody needs fired , not re-trained but fired. Your lack of passion has already created the toxic ripples that have already permeated your employees and that starts at the top. It shows that you just want a Job but don't want to reflect the standards and reputation that Applebee's mission statement sets forth. Step aside because you are no longer a good fit for this company and its values.

Most horrible experience I’ve ever had. We had 8 in our party which they seemed puzzled as to how to seat us. Waitress came over and took our drink order which included both alcoholic, tea , and water. Part of our party knew what they wanted to eat but the rest didn’t, so she took those orders but said she’d be back. We watched our drinks and beer sit at the bar getting hot and watered down. Waitress proceeded to take another table’s order. We waited and waited but still no drinks or return to take the rest of our orders. Then an appetizer came out to the table. So o requested to speak to the manager. The manager came to the table as the waitress finally brings the waters and teas. As I explained to the manager our issue (not receiving drinks, bringing out an appetizer without taking the rest of the orders) and he apologized then proceeded to laugh. Needless to say, we canceled our orders and got up and left. This was the only place my 6 year old granddaughter wanted to go for her birthday dinner yet she left crying in tears. Will never go back!

I was extremely disappointed. The wait staff was hustling everywhere with no real progress on anything. Dirty dishes on the tables and our table was sticky and we waited nearly an hour for food. Although when we finally did receive our food (which was cold) , we couldn’t even eat it because we had no silverware!! The only thing that made it something decent was the music. Will never be back so please don’t even attempt to send me any type of meal vouchers. Hard pass!

The food was either warm or cool. One of our orders wasn’t right. We didn’t complain because it took an hour to get our food and we didn’t want to wait for the correct order. Table was sticky. We had to request, straws, silverware, refills and he never removed one dirty dish while we were there. In fact all of the tables around us had dirty dishes, I guess they don’t take plates away while you’re still sitting there. The server was nice enough but I’m guessing serving tables is not what he is meant to be doing. I highly recommend finding any other place to eat. I will say we found the music to be good.
