I had the escovitch snapper, rice and beans with oxtail gravy, and steamed veg. The fish itself tasted a little old, but I think it was purchased that way and not the fault of the chef. The pickled veg and sauce was very tasty and had a good spicy kick. Ask for extra gravy on the rice and beans. Overall the meal was good. Will be back.
This food with authentic and absolutely delicious! The meat fell off the bone, the sauces were sweet and spicy, and the service was wonderful. She helped us find something that each of us would like!
Diane, the owner is a wonderful Christian lady! Diane was amazing in how she directed us to the right meat for our daughter's taste for mild spicy food. We had the spicy and honey jerk chicken, oxtail, with rice and beans, and coleslaw. The service, food, and atmosphere deserves an A++. Thank you Diane and children! -Kevin, Sharon, and Charlotte.
