We arrived at Billy Gail's in Branson on Saturday morning about 9:00. No exaggeration, there were about 200 people waiting outside to get inside. We noped out of there, and came back Sunday morning at 7:20. (They open at 7:00.) As we entered, we saw plenty of empty tables, but were told that there was a 15 minute wait. We sat down inside (thankfully) where it was warm, and eventually saw a lady arrive for work about 7:30. I thought that was probably our server, and I was right. We were seated 5 minutes later. The menu has a lot to choose from, and it took us quite a while to study it, and choose the best priced combo to get what we wanted, which was only pancakes, fried eggs and drinks. We ended up with one huge 14 inch vanilla pancake, and 4 fried eggs, which we turned into a couple of pancake sandwiches. Our order also included a couple strips of bacon and a couple pieces of toast. Everything tasted great -- especially that pancake. I'd never had a vanilla pancake. I loved it. I've been craving another one since then, but we live a couple hundred miles away from the source. On our next trip to Branson, we'll be returning to Billy Gail's. Our server did an excellent job. FYI -- there's a 3% surcharge if you pay with a credit card.

We went for lunch at 1:45. Onion Rings were over cooked, that wonderfull bacon everyone raves about was dripping like pancake syrup. Burger came with the bacon on it, the grease soaked the bun along with the syrup...not good. That catfish is pangasius, look it up on Google. Don't go eat here if it is close to closing time...the last customer should get the same quality as the first customer.

Went to Billy Gail's on a recommendation & because we love Flat Creek Steakhouse. It was a very unappealing experience. First we arrived and had to wait 15 minutes for a waitress to take drink orders, then another 15 to bring drinks & take orders. When our lunch came, 30 minutes after that, the chicken fried steak *and* the mashed potatoes were stone cold. The chicken sandwich bun was so soggy from. Wet lettuce that it fell apart in my hands. When I spoke to the manager about it he seemed very unconcerned. Very unlike Flat Creek. Won't go again.

An always stop when in Branson. Always try to eat the 14” pancake but always fail. Today Angela V was our waitress and believe she was the best we’ve ever had. Don’t miss this place(they have on in downtown Branson but the one in the country is the bomb!!
