Had dinner here, was later on in the evening so it wasn't busy. The chicken wings and fried mushrooms were great, I had the prime rib sandwich which was also very good. Definitely would go back.

2024- review update. Tonight wad disappointing. Food was ok, not great. The drink was goid but not stirred. This visit was very bland compared to last time.2021-We loved eating here! The food tastes fresh and the service was GREAT!! definelty try the blood orange berry mojito!

Service was not good. He didn't get most of the order right we were there an hour at our table before getting our food. We never got bread :( one of my fav things about black oak...seemed to really decline over the last few years. Used to be a safe bet. Not anymore. :(

Stopped here for lunch. The atmosphere was nice the service was outstanding. The food was delicious very fresh made. We ate off of the lunch special their salad was very fresh and out and good. Had an appetizer of fried mushrooms they were so delicious they were the best mushrooms that I've ever had. Would highly recommend it.

I have to go back about 15 years to remember a possibly worse steak. Obviously a poor, cheap cut of meat. Select maybe? It was supposed to be medium rare, which it looked like on the inside. The problem was seeing it since it was like trying to cut rubber with a dull knife. The veggies were good though! As was the service.
