Branson Cafe doesn’t believe in small portions. Ham steak, pancakes, home fries, biscuits and gravy….every plate comes out loaded and ready to work. And those cinnamon rolls? Big as your face and worth every bite. It’s the kind of breakfast that makes you sit back, loosen your belt, and admit it was absolutely the right decision. If you leave hungry, that’s on you. 😎

Really disappointed in this place. I am a local and frequently eat breakfast out. Simple 2 egg breakfast no meat and coffee came to $18.00. I know prices are high but Wow. Was thinking maybe this was another option, was thinking wrong. I did question it pointing out prices with meat was better and 3 egg omelets with all the fixing cheaper. Pretty much said is what it is sorry. Beware if you go here do not order the simple 2 egg breakfast unless you don't care about your money.
Farmhouse is definately the better choice!

We were seated for almost 15 minutes without being checked on or our drink orders being taken. I understand that lunch is a busy time, but multiple people who came in after us were helped. Decided to eat somewhere else.

My party really loved this place! We are breakfast- i got one of their breakfast skillets, so very good. The biscuit is so big and fluffy and gravy was just the way I like it. Oh my gosh, the cinnamon rolls is a must buy. They are absolutely huge. One fed five of us and we took the other one home. Still excellent when reheated which was a definite plus. Highly recommend.

Fun fact.
They will tell you to stand outside, but not tell you they will put your name on a list.
Then, even in 20 degrees will ask you to stay in the little door entry not in the warm building.
I hate tourist traps...

Biscuit and gravy was okay. Biscuits were stored in a plastic bag in the kitchen. Didn't taste fresh.
Pancakes came from a box called pancake mix in the kitchen. Just okay.
Cinnamon roll was fresh.
Coffee was good, but no offers to refill throughout meal.
Atmosphere was very dirty, kitchen looked dirty and dusty. Dining room floor was loaded with food waste.
Service seemed understaffed or couldn't keep up.
Our previous experience last year was much better.

Branson Cafe is a fantastic spot for breakfast.
The food was excellent across the board, and the staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, which really elevated the experience. Everything we ordered was delicious, but if you want a true show-stopper, get the cinnamon roll—it’s legitimately the size of an adult’s face, wildly impressive, and absolutely worth it.
Pricing is a little higher than some other breakfast spots in the area, but it’s pretty standard for downtown Branson. We’re from Northern Virginia, so honestly, we found the prices very reasonable—definitely subjective depending on where you’re coming from.
One amusing (and memorable) note: if you need to use the bathroom, you follow the “yellow brick road” straight through the kitchen. It felt mildly intrusive at first, but the staff was happy to point me in the right direction and effortlessly maneuvered food carts around me.
Overall, great breakfast, great service, and a fun experience. Would absolutely come back.

We are so glad we chose Branson Cafe as our lunch choice this weekend. We had first seen a restaurant across the street (probably yummy too) but they had a 40 minute wait while we got in here immediately. They first brought out the most scrumptious looking biscuits I had ever seen. (Did NOT disappoint). Our large-ish group ordered several items but the stand out choices to us were: Battered Pork Tenderloin, Chicken Fried Steak, and meat, veggie, and veggie omelet. 10/10 recommend and if we have time, we will hit them up a second time on our trip!
