Branson’s hidden gem!!!
We were recommended to try Capone’s tonight by the manager of the Chateau. It is truly a family restaurant- the owners and their son were all working! To say we were impressed would be an understatement. The location is a bit unusual (it’s inside a realty office) but the food and service steal the show.
Mr. Terry aka “Little Al” (see photo) is a national treasure. He was one of Capone’s first customers and now serves as host. He has such a friendly personality and we loved chatting with him!
We loved our salads and sweet, crusty rolls. We decided to split a big prime ribeye steak and it was the right choice. Each bite was perfectly cooked, well seasoned and full of flavor. I also enjoyed the mushroom and onion add on.
For dessert, we had the fresh bread pudding with caramel sauce. I’m not one bit ashamed to say I ate more than my share and nearly licked the plate clean. It was decadent and rich… a big glass of milk or a coffee would have been nice with it!
There was an impressive drink list, some of which were inspired by Prohibition era drinks!
Give Capone’s a try next time you’re in Branson! They’re open Tuesday- Saturday.

This place had the best steak ever! Totally worth the price! As well as great staff! 10/10 🤩🤩
This place surprised me a bit due to the location. The steak was top notch, the sides were great and the Caesar salad was the best...drizzled with a bit of basalmic. As a bonus they had a live singer that was way better than most. Sorry I didn't get any pictures.
Food was eh, got the chicken fried chicken and had little to no flavor as well as the mashed potatoes( which were also slightly cold) then the desert we ordered after(cake) was hot on the outside and cold on the inside. Would rather it be one temperature or another besides getting different temps. Probably wont go here again, overpriced on most and they do not even have the full menu in stock.
If you’re looking for a good steakhouse look no further. 3 ribeyes all cooked perfectly, juicy, flavorful and tender. The kids pizza was also a hit. Great service, live music, unique speakeasy atmosphere. Steaks were worth the price on this one.
Possibly the best filet mignon I have had in quite a while. The drinks were devine!
Wow! This really is the best steak house. My filet was literally melt in your mouth; cooked perfectly. Our waitress was fantastic and the staff was courteous. We both enjoyed singing along to the live music. The wine menu is disappointing, but the food made up for it. My husband said the old fashioned was good. They focus on prohibition recipe cocktails. No need to dress up because this place is super casual. When you first walk in the lobby, it smells like cat food for some reason, but once inside, it’s fine. Don’t forget to make reservations. Skip the appetizers and go straight for the steak.
Definitely the best steak in Branson. Will return if ever in Branson again. The place is not as fancy as we thought but the food and service made up for it.
This was our second chance to give it a try. Same as last time. Steak was grizzle and tuff. Half was waste. Waitress was not up to standards. Had to
Ask for everything including salt and pepper that should have been on table. Took 15 min to get drinks. Rolls cold. How this Is rated so high I have no idea.
We had a great experience. Solid food and drink. We will definitely be back.

Music and entertainment!
Our server Marcy was amazing! The food was wonderful!
I would not recommend this place. The owner can’t cook a rare steak, will argue with you about it publicly, and verbally abuses his staff and customers. Get this place outta Branson, it’s a bad look!
The very best night. Thank you to Jamie for the incredible drinks + conversation. Our steaks were fantastic, Dean Martin music was a great surprise + the special recognition for our engagement was so appreciated. Love this place.
Went here for my birthday. I had the quiche and my wife had the steak. The quiche came out and It was not even lukewarm. My wife strip steak was like eating shoe leather. We had a total of three drinks and the final bill came at $225. One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a restaurant.
