The dining room felt like a cruise ship in the 90's. It was nice and everything tasted good, but it seems to have had better days. Nothing in particular that stands out; it's just the vibe it gives off.

This wouldn't let me post zero stars. I called yesterday morning an left a message for the Chateau Grill to call me back so I could make a reservation to celebrate my birthday with a nice dinner. They called me back, made my reservation for two people at 6pm and assured me the Library Lounge was open so we could enjoy a pre-dinner cocktail. When we arrived, the Library Lounge was closed, and the Grill was closed. They offered to move the one server on duty from the Atrium to the Grill, but we didn't have high expectations for a nice dinner in a closed restaurant and left.

The atmosphere is a 5 but I’ve had better steak at longhorn steakhouse for half the price. I was disappointed in the New York strip but our waiter Eric was the kindest! My Mediterranean salad was a little too drenched in dressing but otherwise nice. I’d come back to try the appetizers for sure!

My husband and I ate at the grille last night total was over $200 which we expected when both ordered steaks, but we expected a good edible meal. Instead while walking into the restaurant all we could smell was fish and garbage, once sat at the table with our water it took 15 min to even take our drink order (both just got a soda). My husband ordered the wings and a ceaser salad. That ceaser salad and wings were the only things edible. Once our steaks finally came out (over an hour after we were seated) the tasted like fish! The mashed potatos were cold and the Brussel sprouts were undercooked and inedible. Not to mention adding watered down soda to the cup by the time we left my coke was more ice than coke. My husband and I have never spent so much money on such trash food they want to pretend is fine dining. We spent more on trying to have a good dining experience the first time ( neither of us have ever had room service or a restaurant in a hotel) than it cost for our actual room and the food was the worst part of our trip cause it made both of us sick to the point of puking

Very disappointed in food quality. At this price point, food and service quality expectations were much higher. Unfortunately, we had much higher expectations. Based upon our experience, we will not again visit this restaurant and will not consider staying at their hotel.

The ambience, view and employees were spectacular. The food was less than stellar. The bread was stale, the shrimp in the seafood mushroom risotto had a strong fish odor. The steak, mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts were good but overpriced. There we a handful of diners and no locals, which should have been a red flag from the start, but we tried it anyway. I would not recommend this restaurant.

Our meal was 5 star fantastic! Not sure what the other low ratings are about as our experience was all around amazing. The filet mignon was well seasoned and cooked to perfection. Our server, Mary from the Philippines was attentive and professional. Thank you for an amazing experience!

Noteworthy details: Breakfast buffet was alright. Inconsistent quality.I had a huge lipstick stain on the coffee cup they served me and they did nothing about it. Charged $6 for a small glass of orange juice! Total rip off. This place seems designed to rip off the elderly! BEWARE all EVERYTHING cost extra.

Food & drinks: The meal was a turkey panini with french fries and the meal was very lack luster. The bread over powered the meat and the cranberry was non existent. Not worth $25 with water, tip and tax!

Our server didn't know how to move quickly. It took him 8 minutes to greet us and then he seemed offended 10 minutes later when I waived him over to take our drink order. It was not busy when we were sat at 5:54 pm. There were 7 tables occupied. The prime rib was tough and over cooked for a medium cook order. The drinks and ambiance were both very nice, but the food and service needs improvement. We are locals and can see the Chateau from our home.

The hotel is ok, but the food here is brutal and service is worse. It took them 2+ hours to feed us cold food that was similar to what I'd make in a microwave (they use a microwaved flatbread base for half their menu items. They can't be proud of what they're delivering at a place that appears to care about their image in other ways.

Love it!! Our favorite place to stay at the lake especially during the holidays!

We have been to the Thanksgiving Brunch with family 5 times. The first 4 times were wonderful. Food prepared well and a great variety. SO DISAPPOINTED THIS TIME (2023). When we called to make reservation, we asked if they were going to have lobster tails like previous times. We were told yes, but they were not on the buffet. We thought we would just enjoy the rest of the offerings, but a lot of things had changed.Banana Foster and Cherry Jubilees were made without butter and only a sprinkle of sugar which made them dried grilled fruit on ice cream. They were much better before. Lobster Ravioli was falling apart, mashed potatoes cold, Pancetta on pork inedible. For 95$ per person we expected better quality. We will not be eating Thanksgiving there again.
