Food was great. Pricing was also very good if you’re looking for a small hole in the wall with a home like feel, this is your spot.
It was just okay.
We stopped at Clockers Cafe for breakfast on a Tuesday morning around 9 am. It wasn't too busy and we got a booth right away.
Our server, Shawna was super nice and attentive.
We ordered:
- Coffees and waters
- Giant Cinnamon Roll
- Eggs Benedict with Hollandaise on the side and Home Fries
- Omelet with Ham, Onion and Cheddar with English Muffin and side of Hash Browns
The cinnamon roll came out first as we wanted. While it was tasty, it definitely was not huge. For cinnamon rolls, this was average to small in size. At $5.99 though, it was priced fairly.
My omelet was nice. The English Muffin was saturated with butter or Whirl. My hashbrowns were a big disappointment. The top of them were extra crispy and crumbled when eaten (overcooked). The hashbrowns underneath looked okay but were floating in a bath of cooking oil (Whirl perhaps).
My wife's Eggs Benedict was decent as was the sauce. Eggs were cooked perfectly. Her home fries were large chunks of fried potatoes. They didn't seemed seasoned at all and they were cut too large.
We have half of our meals leftover and will be eating them at home tomorrow morning. I packed my hashbrowns on top of a napkin to absorb the grease/Whirl so those should fry up nice. For my wife's home fries, I'll season them when I reheat them.
So I'm calling Clockers Cafe average for the food and excellent for the service.
Service was great, food great.
Clockers is an interesting name for this diner. Typically if your food is going to take 30-40 minutes (during a down time) to get to your table you dont want a bunch of clocks reminding you of how long you have waited. The food looks amazing as it comes out of the kitchen but that is where it stops. You are impressed with presentation and portions and then really let down by the food itself. If you need a quick place to grab a bite. This isn't it. If you need a good meal for a good price? This isn't it.
A little pricey for breakfast, but worth it if you’re on vacation like we were.
The food was good and so was the service but idk it also seemed like it took a long time to get our food when it was an empty restaurant. Food was hot and pretty decent
My eggs were awful the bacon had been deep fried the hash browns the whole breakfast was a bust won't be back.
It was actually this good. Great home cooked taste 😋 had eggs, bacon, French toast and coffee. Staff were nice and patient, truly friendly. Will eat here again without question. Even with downtown construction it was easy to park and get into the restaurant. Don't let the detour signs put you off, it's worth it.
best breakfast I've had in a long time
Everything that came was giant. My gravy was room temp, but I didn’t say anything. It was still quite delicious. My only complaint was that kids eat free on Wednesday commercial on the Branson channel which is why we went here instead of one of our other go to spots and they did not honor that. They didn’t even have a kid menu. I did ask. The waitress just said she wasn’t sure. We ended up paying for the kids full price. Just be aware.

This is a quaint little diner that has some hidden surprises. A decent selection of Food in which to choose from here.
You can have breakfast, lunch or dinner. All of which look and seem to be very tasty.
The restaurant itself was extremely clean. The white staff we had was Heather H and she was an exceptional waitress.
I had actually left my cell phone in the booth and Heather come running down the street to find me to return it. It's people like Heather that make people like me want to return again and again.
Thank you once again, Heather!
My coffee never ran out and we had everything we required always with a smile.
This is a comfortable place. The booths are a bit smaller than I'm used to but they were still comfortable.
Stop in today and let him know that I sent you. This was my first trip and I will definitely be back.

We enjoyed such a great experience at this little cafe. We travel to Branson several times a year. Tourists know the difficulty finding reliable good restaurants around here. We had the best chicken fried steak breakfast I think we have had in a long time. Place was full, but the service was supreme. We will definitely be back and share our experience with other friends and family that travel to Branson for R&R.

The cinnamon rolls are HUGE and a must have! The eggs benedict were absolutely delicious! The place I felt sorry for the waitresses because there were only two for the whole restaurant, and they were killing it! Seating people, serving, and bussing the tables. They deserve a raise!
