Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Cracker Barrel is always hit or miss. Service was horrible and it was so loud . We were surrounded by screaming.

I had the chicken fried steak. I told the waitress white gravy on the steak and on my mashed potatoes. Brown gravy was on the potatoes…not a huge deal but odd.

Today's visit was memorable, but not in a positive way. We had a table of 5, ordering breakfast. We waited an hour to get our meals and my order was wrong. We seemed to have a seasoned waitress who knew what she was doing, however once we got our bill we asked if we could get senior discounts and a percentage off the bill for having to wait so long. She immediately said no we don't do that here. I thought that to be rather cold. Our overall experiences have been good, and maybe they were just having a bad day. This day was the wrong time to have that kind of day. We had out of State visitors and two were disabled. Life goes on...

I have ate there before , great food , to many people , alot of talking so not a great atmosphere, last time I went it was an hour wait so they need to expand , just my opinion, plenty of other places .

Usually we have a great experience but not this time. We understandably had to wait for food but we received burnt and overcooked food. When trying to get it fixed we're told that's how it's cooked. The manager came and we talked and said she'd be back then never came back. We didn't get to eat anything. Both the manager and server were rude when we had issues.

We stopped at the Branson location yesterday for breakfast / lunch. Food was good. However, the service was not great by our server. We had to flag down another server to get drink refills as ours never checked on us after she took our order.

The other gal Nikki did a wonderful job taking care of us, even though we weren’t her table.

We will be back and hopefully will have Nikki for the whole experience.

Idk what kind of meat you are serving for sausage but it didn't taste like sausage it was nasty 🤢 and the gravy wasn't the best either I ordered thru door dash is door dash food different? I was very disappointed I used to go to cracker barrel and got the best flavor in food I guess that's what else is changing here so sad

Breading on chicken was over cooked. Biscuits were dry. Was told that the manager was cooking that day. That may be the reason food wasn't up to usual standards.

They now have pot roast instead of roasted beef. It is not even close to being as good. Plus they also no longer have the awesome gravy that they had before which was so good many times I have ordered 2 orders of the mashed potatoes and gravy to go. Plus the corn bread wasn't ready until thirty minutes after we ordered and the server was not happy that I still wanted it . When I got back to the cabin I looked at the receipt and I had been charged $5.49 or $5.99 for a side of 2 Pan Cake's which should have been $2.99 . Not likely to be one of my favorite places to go to from here out.

We placed a to go order it took them a very long tym to cum n take our order then asked for our dink while waiting for out order n by the tym we git it the ice was melted our food took forever it wad sum wat goo's I guess the chicken fried steak was way over cooked the service was not pleasan-t paying for our food was long n very tymz consuming we got up there to pay then all cashiers left

Hamburger was ok, had absolutely no flavor and it is cooked to medium when I prefer well done with NO pink

Parking: Multiple handicap spots available along with other spots

Wheelchair accessibility: I use a walker and it is fairly easy to get around, some spaces are a little tight

The food was good, the issue I have is the hamburger steak is no longer available, this is very bad news for those who follow a keto diet, not everyone wants breaded/fried or foods loaded with sugar, so very few low carb options now, pretty disappointing :(
