Hungry Hunter Restaurant Reviews
I have eaten at this restaurant quite a few times and I keep going back! A lot of the food is made from scratch and they have large portions! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable! It’s just a great place all around. If you haven’t eaten there yet, I highly recommend it! You won’t be disappointed!
I wish it had been better, but the food served to our group of 6 (about 3 weeks ago) was nothing special. Two of us ordered the chicken fried steak and it was the worst I've ever seen or tasted. Neither of us ate it. Other foods at our table were very average; nothing good enough to go back for a second time. However, I will say the service was very good.
We try to make it into the hungry Hunter every chance we get. Best food around. And best service also. there's usually a long wait , but that's because the food is soooo good.

Hungry Hunter Restaurant is a hidden gem in Branson that offers homemade breakfast and lunch dishes, serving breakfast all day. Known for its friendly and hardworking staff, the restaurant has become a popular choice for locals and visitors alike. The menu features a variety of options such as cinnamon rolls, pancake combos, cheese omelette, French toast made with homemade bread, and chicken fried steak. While prices may be a bit higher than average, the generous portions and excellent service make it a worthwhile dining experience.
The restaurant can get busy, especially after 8 a.m., so it is recommended to arrive early to avoid long waits. Customers have praised the light and fluffy French toast, which is served on thick Texas toast with plenty of cinnamon. The chicken fried steak, often upgraded to Roy's special version, is a favorite among diners. Many have noted the flavorful sausage links and the delicious cinnamon rolls, which they plan to try next time. The coffee is real good, and drinks like orange juice are reasonably priced. With its delicious food, welcoming atmosphere, and attentive staff, Hungry Hunter Restaurant continues to be a staple in the area, making it a must-visit for those heading to the lake.
