If you enjoy good food, great services and great vibes you’ve got to check out this little breakfast joint! Their portion sizes were huge and food came out pretty fast despite being busy and down a server. Lori was our server and was nothing but smiles the entire time. 10/10 recommend! Do yourself a favor and try their fresh cinnamon rolls. Delish!!

There are good reasons the Hungry Hunter parking lot and restaurant are nearly always full. The tasty meals are made to order, and served hot and fresh by amazing waitstaff. Outstanding service every time, and the place is kept clean and tidy with quick service and waitresses who don't forget to check on you. We recently had Amy take great care of our group with her positive attitude and sweet care.
Fresh coffee was piping hot & tasted great as did the hot chocolate with plenty of whipped cream on that. Cinnamon rolls are made fresh daily and truly habit-forming! Super soft-baked and every bite bursting with warm cinnamon flavor, and enough icing to make every bite a dream. It's a decadent treat that could realistically satisfy four people's sweet tooths, unless you are looking for a sugar coma! Haha.
Very reasonable prices across the menu, especially in 2026. My eggs are always cooked just the way I like them. Toast/bread is baked fresh, in house, and I love that apple butter is offered with toast. I have enjoyed the Spanish Omelet, with tasty onions, peppers, sausage and other southwestern flavors. Bob's Special Hash Browns are also packed with flavor from the peppers and grilled onions. Have only been here for breakfast so I have to try more of their menu, but Hungry Hunter knocks breakfast out of the park. Everything I have gotten here has been a delicious treat. Even when it's busy, it's worth the wait. Come enjoy a real Branson gem - for the Hungry Hunter in you.

This place is a gem. We took a short weekend from St. Louis. St. Louis doesn’t have anything like this place. The food was outstanding and the weight staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable.the pancake was giant! Delish!

This little gem is worth the stop. My husband & I stopped here for breakfast before heading out. First we were glad we got there early, it was really starting to fill up and there was a line waiting for tables when we left. The food was great. I had a sausage & cheese omelet that was filled to the brim with goodies. And yes I did have to ask for a box. Service was top notch. Friendly & very helpful. They are proud of the homemade bread & I can see why. Delicious! Stay away from the chains and make a point to visit the Hungery Hunter. You won't be sorry.

This was a little off the beaten path but thought we'd give it a try. We were seated right away so it pays to be early. The place filled up rather quickly. We ordered the chicken fried steak breakfast and the French toast. We had high hopes after reading the reviews, but my husband said he had better chicken fried steak elsewhere, and rather than homemade gravy, it came from a mix. My French toast had a good cinnamon flavor, but it was only cooked (more like warmed) on the outside. The inside was just a piece of bread. Almost like taking a slice out of the package and eating it. Didn't appear the egg mixture soaked in before cooking. Very discouraging. We did order a cinnamon roll to go and that was excellent! A lot of icing, but surprisingly, it wasn't overbearingly sweet. Would certainly order that again. The waitresses were all wonderful and were moving quickly to take care of all the customers. We were extremely happy with the staff. Prices were reasonable considering the price of everything is high anymore. We might consider trying this place again sometime but would definitely NOT order what we had this time.

The first time we stopped by, on this year's Branson visit, the wait time was longer than we wanted to stay. Then we remembered last year's lesson (Nov-24, TA review); and the next two times we came were mid-week, late morning (around noon)....and were seated immediately. The other thing we remembered, was how great the meals here are. The facility is a small, comfortable, unpretentious local eatery; with friendly, welcoming and attentive staff. During our visits; we had the French toast, Bob's hashbrowns (once without the sour cream), an omelet, both types of sausage, bacon, eggs-over-easy, and toast. Everything was well-prepared, tasty and amply portioned (leaving enough for additional, later enjoyment). We also had take-out ham & bean, and taco soups; also both quite satisfying. There are numerous great breakfast/brunch options in the Branson area; this establishment continues to deserve its place in the top tier.

Best placevin Branson for breakfast. Huge portions of awesome comfort breakfast food. Their bread and biscuits are made from scratch and I would love to know where they get the bacon. You may have to wait a while because the place is small but worth it. Once you get seated you have an endless supply of coffee and the food comes out quick. I always tell people that Billy Gail's is pretty good UNTIL you have had the food at Hungry Hunter. Dont forget to take home one of those huge cinnamon rolls. You will be so full that you have to enjoy it later.

Depending on the time you show up you may have to wait for a bit, but the food is well worth the wait. Come hungry, because the servings are large, such as the hubcap sized pancakes. They do offer child size servings for adults over 60. They serve yummy apple cider bacon, which is so good! My husband’s Mexican omelette that was filled with savory veggies and cheese was huge, and very tasty. The hash browns are crispy and seasoned just right. The toast is super sized and substantial, not thin like most store bought bread. The service was great as well, so thumbs up to this place.
