Loved this place!! BLT, the Oh Cheesus and broccoli cheese soup were delish! Generous portions and wait staff made us feel welcomed. Live music added a sweet touch too!

We ate here for the second time (Thanksgiving Evening and last night 3/22/25 for our anniversary). This place has the best food!! Top drawer service and friendly atmosphere! Most of all, it’s run by a Christian family!! So, next time you go to Branson, check this place out! You won’t be disappointed! Portions are generous and the sweet tea is the bomb! They literally run that place as “do all things as doing unto the Lord”. Our new favorite place. I don’t care what anyone else says about their food! It sure won’t ruin your vacation! 😎 Try the grilled chicken salad! Go enjoy a meal there and be blessed!

We had the best experience here tonight!! Tara was the absolute best waitress!! We not only got to have the best interaction with a fellow Veteran and buy their family meal but they paid it forward and by the time we finished our meal it had been paid forward at least 6 times including our meal!! Not only were we blessed by our fellow Americans and Veterans but we were completely blessed by our waitress Tara!! The owner was also the best down to earth southern woman. Thank you for the great food and wonderful atmosphere!!

Ok, who doesn't love good fried food once in awhile?? Lol Everything our party of four ordered was good, but I will say, if you can't handle fried food, you might struggle a bit to find something on the menu. They do have salads and burgers but they are known for their fried catfish and chicken. We enjoyed the live guitar/singer. Very family oriented.

I can agree that they have one of the best chicken fried steaks I've ever had. Went around Christmas and they had a very good musician playing guitar and singing Christmas songs.

Great place, good food, good service I ce. Owners are out there working greating you and making you feel at home. Food was delicious. Great prices. A must do if your in Branson. We went at about 5 and didn't have to wait long.

Without a doubt our best meal while in Branson. The burgers were handmade and beautifully flavored. The tenderloin was melt in your mouth delicious. The home made ranch dressing was out of this world. We met the owner and he took time to engage us in conversation. Brought my grandson applesauce and made sure we were happy. This is our new must have when we come to Branson! Top notch!!!

We were super excited to try this place after several recommendations from reading online. There was a 40 minute wait, which wasn't an issue. The atmosphere is great! Loved the games to play while waiting, the live music, and the owner at the hostess station was so nice. We were upstairs, and had it to ourselves, which was welcomed actually. Our server was friendly, however, didn't come and check on us once the food was delivered, until the check came. It is good that the drink glasses are huge! My daughter and I shared the fried catfish plate. Two pieces of catfish, three small hushpuppies, a portion of green beans, and a little container of coleslaw. The catfish was ok, the hushpuppies had a good flavor-need to be bigger, the coleslaw was good, the green beans...less than desired! My son's burger was a great size, but didn't taste great. My husband got the Mack, which he didn't like. The fries on both of their plates said "hand cut fries." They were hard and didn't taste or look fresh like "hand cut fries" are. We were all hungry so we ate our food without complaint. We had just three meals and one soda, which came to $67 with tip. I'm sure that is normal for Branson.
We have had tons of wonderful home style country cooking, but unfortunately, this didn't come close at all for us, which is so disappointing with all the hype. We would give it close to an overall 3 stars because of the atmosphere and the lovely owner, but for sure 2 stars with the food. Maybe it was an off evening, or an off few dishes. Tons of reviews LOVE this place which speaks volumes for an establishment, so I would definitely still try it if it is on your list to go to in Branson.

I had a pretty good experience at Local Flavor. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was friendly. The main dishes were tasty, but I was a bit disappointed with the fries,Overall, it’s a nice spot, and I’ll likely give it another try.

If you enjoy fresh homemade food that you want to eat more than once while visiting Branson? This is the place!!!
Yes there will be a wait but they have benches to sit on and games to play including cornhole to enjoy the weather while waiting.
Being homemade of fresh products gives outstanding flavors you didn’t realize you had in your senses!
The staff was aware if your drink was in need of refilling or any other needs you may have. We didn’t go away hungry. Actually took our delicious desserts to go because of our full belly.
Yes everything is expensive now days but their prices were reasonable compared to other places.
The owners were working hard themselves (each time we were in there) and do take pride in their establishment. As he admitted a new truck would have been nice but the business benefits better with the money.
Yes we will be returning whenever we are in or near Branson.
