Was a great place to eat, now out of Business. Best loaded mashed potatoes with skins, never had a steak in the Joplin area, as good as this place. Sad that it has closed, we ate here on our honeymoon, hope they intend to reopen, after remodel... When you deal with the kind of traffic you have in Branson it's not always easy to keep everyone happy. And even servers have to have a day off. I read the bad reviews and wished management tryed a revamp. Instead of closing doors.

Great grilled shrimp with mashed potatoes and vegetables. Hubby said the Chicken Fried Chicken was very good also. Excellent waiter. Enough food to bring some home for lunch the next day. And bonus—didn’t have to wait for a table at 7:00 on a Friday night!

Did not have a good experience at all it took for ever to get anything and when we did get it it was wrong like the kids didn’t get what they ordered on their burgers and I had to send steak back because it was way more done than what I asked for and then they brought the same one out cooked more so I had to keep it at the table to make sure they cooked me a new one. Then we asked for the roles as soon as we got seated and didn’t get them until the second first steak got there. And they didn’t even offer a discount or anything. Wish I had a way better experience.

Went in and wondered why business was slow. Got seated then the server told us they were out of almost all the steaks???? No steaks at a steakhouse, never mind.

Just ate Thanksgiving dinner here and it was phenomenal and delicious. The dinner consist of smoked turkey, which they gave you both white and dark meat with gravy, mashed potatoes with gravy, corn, stuffing, cranberry sauce and a slice of pumpkin pie. This food was really delicious 5 stars all the way!

My wife and I arrived at 11:30 Saturday morning expecting to hit the lunch rush but saw only 2 or 3 other cars there. At first we thought they weren't open. Was seated and waitress came right over. She brought our soft drinks and took our order. We asked for some rolls. She said they are in the oven and would be right out. Steaks came first. Had ordered med-well and ours were burned. Rolls still in oven. Plates were hotter than the food.

My steak was only warm. Two burgers at our table were burned. Service was mediocre at best. There was no host to seat us. I ordered a chocolate brownie dessert to go and discovered it was burned and too hard to eat parts of it. This is definitely a restaurant that will be closed soon.

When we went our server was outstanding. We were a group of 10 and he worked with us with no issues at all.

Do not recommend! We got the fairly early so that we would have time to eat before a show, only 2 other tables were being served, so it wasn't a rush of people and it still took over 2 hours! I got the fillet mignon, paid almost $26 for it and ordered it to be cooked medium rare, it was over well done!! And didn't have time to return it for a new steak. I will never go there again, glad Longhorn Steakhouse came to town!!

This is not just a chain. This place is great. If you come alone on business like me, sit at the bar and just hope you get Theresa as your bartender. She's absolutely fantastic! I'm so glad I came over here. Chain's are usually a reliable stop if you need/want a place with some healthier options. Well, this Lone Star didn't disappoint! Thanks Theresa and your whole team for your awesome service, wonderful smiles, and some great laughs! COME HERE!

I have dined at many steakhouses , but i must say that the service I experienced here at the Lone Star up there with the best. I dined at the bar and Theresa was helpful, friendly and always there when I needed something. The experience was excellent. You should use her to train others who are in contact with the customer as she gets it. Well done Theresa!!!! Cassidy was the manager at the time and also did a wonderful job making me feel welcome!

A near perfect meal! A brand new server, second day on the job, gave us some of the best service we've ever had. We both had the 9 ounce sirloin and the grill chef was on his game. I had a side salad that was as fresh as it gets. We have visited this restaurant twice and both times we had a great experience!
