A nice place to cool off during summer, and the food is pretty good too! The atmosphere is exactly what you expect from the name. My kids loved it.

My family really enjoyed this buffet. Yes, it is $18.99 per person. However, if you think about the prices of the food in the park it’s a great deal. It includes your drink and your dessert for this price and it’s all you can eat. We loved the crispy chicken strips and the beef brisket. My granddaughter’s favorite was the macaroni and cheese, of course. It was also really nice to be able to get out of the cold and sit inside where it was warm. We agreed this would be a new family tradition to add to our Silver Dollar City visit each year.

We ate here while at Silver Dollar City. I had researched all of the restaurants and from the pictures and descriptions, had decided that this would be a wonderful opportunity for my family to have a Christmas dinner while visiting Silver Dollar City. It was a buffet and the food tasted like boxed product. The only fresh ingredients were the salad. I feel this was such a missed opportunity for out-of-towners to have a lasting, memorable Christmas dinner and to make signature, unforgettable dishes like Disney has. We wished we would have saved our money and had just eaten at some of the street vendors. For 4 adults and 2 kids, it cost us $90. The atmosphere was unique-like an underground mine and could have been a really neat experience if the food wasn't so bland, box tasting. The staff was friendly however.

My boyfriend and I ate here because we were hungry once we got into the park, it is one of the first restaurants. I will never eat here again. The service was excellent and my server was perfect, but the food was disgusting and looked absolutely horrible. It is a buffet and you can tell the food sits there for long periods of time because it was mushy and soft, not to mention lukewarm. On top of the horrible food I payed $40 for two people, and we didn’t even finish our one plate.

We were at sdc for the xmas lighting of the xmas tree and all of the parks displays. We all decided on this buffet. Have to say the food was great. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The absolute only draw back for some would be the deserts. Not many options there. Oh well, that's why I had to have more brisket instead! Would highly recommend. Thank you SDC.

Nope. Burger and fries were not good, and way overpriced. Condiments bar was picked over, soft drink machines had many that were just carbonated water. It wasn't busy at the time, either. Pass.

The SDC Mine restaurant is a buffet of limited and plain comfort foods--chicken strips, roast beef, iceberg lettuce salad, mashed potatoes, sweet corn, desserts, etc. It fills the need and the variety is good for groups. Our meals were discounted but the regular price had to be about $20 a person, including tax. Drinks are included in the price, which is posted nowhere inside. Decor is cave-like to represent an underground mine and might feel claustrophobic to some diners. The single serving area is also crowded and tight. Service for bread and drinks was excellent.

The holiday buffet was excellent and we had so much to choose from. We skipped dessert or we would have been miserable!

Not good at all. Food cold, no taste. The bread was old, the lettuce was wilted, the chicken tenders were hard, the chicken thigh was pink and bloody. Told them we weren't paying for this, they said Ok, No one even attempted to make us. They knew how bad it was. went to Buckshot Skillet the Jambalaya was delicious.

The food is great. Servers are friendly and quick with refills. The overall atmosphere is fun and exciting, especially for the little ones. Eating in a cave...what could be cooler? The only co.plaint would be the price for adults. Kids are reasonable at $6.99 but adults are $17.49!!!! Whew. But it's all you can eat so pile up your plates!!
