Maria Bonita Mexican Restaurant

We came here for the first time, from South Texas, and I had to leave a review. This is the best restaurant we have eaten at in our 4 days here. Service is wonderful, food is amazing, and prices are very reasonable, especially for plate presentation, amount of food, and food quality! We had the beef fajitas and the guajillo enchiladas. Salsa is amazing too!

Move over Flaming Margaritas!! Maria Bonita has taken over for our favorite Mexican food in Branson!! It’s hard to find a restaurant that serves taco birrias and this place not only serves them, they are tops! The coconut margarita did not disappoint either….at first glance I feared it was going to be too sweet but it’s like thinking you’re getting the crappy Halloween candy (you know the black and orange kind??) but biting into a Reces instead. Definitely give this place a try when you’re in Branson!!

Blink and you'll miss it! But once you get here, this little off the beaten path spot will make you happy. Away from the downtown Branson madness near the Wyndham condo development. Small Mexican restaurant with outdoor patio seating. Our server was soooooo friendly and the food they served was top notch. The margaritas were delicious and it was just an all round good meal. Will definitely be coming back.

Nice little place very close to where we were staying so decided to try this one out. Our waiter, Skylar, greeted us very friendly when we came in. It was a nice day so we chose to eat outside at one of the nice tables.
The chips and salsa are very good. We ordered a guacamole appetizer and WOW it was so fresh! Not overly salty or spicy with additives but very fresh.
We decided to split the fajita nachos and that was a good idea because they are HUGE and so very tasty!
The dark color of the lime in my margarita is because they dehydrate them. They are so full of flavor and not very sour at all. Very tasty in my drink.
The atmosphere was great and the service by Skylar was super great!

Best Mexican food ever, best service ever. I am serious. Make this you have to eat here place when in Branson. Skylar is an amazing server. The cook did an exceptional job. It’s the best.

We read the reviews and were very excited to try it. The waitress never came back to give us refills and had to ask her for napkins three times and we witnessed her kicking a couple out of their seats ( they were done eating and paid their bill ) but we’re still talking. She approached them and said can you leave we have customers who need the table. ( There were 5 extra tables still. But chose to kick them out

Then I order the fajita and they have me three tiny tortillas. I asked for more and she said they charge for more.
No other restaurant ever did that. Or at least they gave bigger tortillas
Then when it came to pay the bill. She stood over me when it came to the tip screen. She didn’t even say thank you and just took off.

She was loud and obnoxious. The food was good and portion size was nice.

It’s a very small restaurant and you couldn’t even go to the restroom without walking over a customer. They did not have soap in the dispenser either.

We had just gotten to our Airbnb after a long day of travel from Connecticut and found this restaurant online.
It was fantastic and the delivery was so quick. I got the burrito and my son got enchiladas. We are very pleased by our dinner. Highly recommended.

Excellent service, we had nachos and fajitas both were outstanding. Nachos were huge! Chips were light, crispy, not greasy, white queso was very good. Highly recommend this hidden gem.

Absolute Greatness! Don't let this small place fool you. It's packed with amazing food, awesome margaritas, and award winning service. We just purchased a condo
across the street, and this will definitely be a regular stop for us while in Branson.

We sat outside and enjoyed wonderful weather. Don't hesitate to give this place a try. You will not be disappointed. Our waitress made our visit super special.

Excellent service, food and atmosphere! I highly recommend as do the others in my party. Btw, try the horchata with Dr Pepper. It's amazing 👏 🤩

We tried this lovely little restaurant for the first time today and we are VERY IMPRESSED!!! It will be our go-to Mexican restaurant from now on!. I ordered the taco salad and mom ordered the 3 tacos plate. Both were delicious!

Small restaurant with additional outdoor seating and excellent food. They say our party of 7 in no time and the service was perfect. We were all happy with our meals.

Doesn't look like much on the outside, but oh it was so good! Everything our group ordered was excellent. The service was fast, friendly, and accommodating. I would highly recommend this place.
