There is no other distillery in the area worthy of what MRD has to offer. First-class all the way. The owner/master distiller (Greg P.) and staff are totally engaging and will walk you through the whole process and tasting. Expect to come away more knowledgeable and appreciative for the art of distilling.
Friendly service, fun and informative tasting. The background bar is amazing, built in 1850, beautiful wood work. And the owner has a good old fashioned wool bowler hat for those very cold evenings. Take a visit, you will very much enjoy your time and bring home some corn whiskey!
I tried the bourbon and I couldn't believe how smooth and tasty it was. I was shocked it was 47%, 94 proof for being as smooth as it was the staff here were all amazing and it was the best night I've had at a Distillery
