This is a fun 80's themed cafe. The food was pretty good - and didhes had cute, 80s themed names. My club sandwich was named the Culture Club. We had some pretzel balls with dip named... Spaceballs, of course. There was a live band setting up to play. Unfortunately, we left before they got started. Old music videos and commercials from "olden times" played on the tube TV's located throughout. It's a fun flashback!

The older male with glasses and ninja turtle shirt that’s not even a boss that was sitting us was hateful. Was hateful to his coworkers in front of everyone. Made the environment on edge. Told us to sit at any table but told us to pick a different table after we sat down. Our server was absolutely AMAZING! Was very polite. He was also the one that was getting yelled at and didn’t even react.

Fantastic dining experience. I got the mad max burger with Cole slaw, a bit spicy but was so delicious. Uncle buck with sweet potato fries was absolutely amazing! Quick friendly staff and service. Fun themed cafe for the 80s. Would definitely come back again!

Micah is fabulous... engaging and interested in my student group from my international Grant high school cluster.
The food was awesome and hot and plentiful.
We came for the escape room but were so happy to see the restaurant and good choices for lunch.
My diverse group needed a variety for traditional and halal restrictions,

This place is so much fun , the food is delicious, first place to get me my very well done burger as I liked it. The Never ending Margarita was delicious, the 80tie vibe was so cool. The staff was so nice and accommodating!! Wish we had something like this closer to home. I know that I will be visiting again !!

Do not pass up this hidden gem. The food is unbelievable. The burgers and fries are stand outs, and definitely try an appetizer, they are all delicious ! You can relive the 80s while the kids have a blast. Our kiddos are 12, 9, and 6 and this was “so cool!” If you leave at sunset you get the best view ever as well. Skip the big name restaurant and you won’t be sorry. The food is fresh and delicious.

We had been driving all morning for us to take my daughter to Branson for her birthday, she is autistic and was having a meltdown due to the heat and wanting to be out of the car so we stopped here on a whim and it was such a wonderful choice. Jerry came over and immediatly helped in the situation and tried to help her calm down. Jeremiah was our server and was also just as attentive and made sure everyone was happy with everything. The food and drinks were wonderful and it was so nice to have staff not ignore us because of the fact my daughter was having a meltdown she couldn't control. Thank you so much for making our first stop in Branson so wonderful.

The food was great! However, if you aren’t rich, you might want to know that you’ll spend around $100 for three people to eat/play. you might want to take that $100 a lot further somewhere else! There’s about 6 working arcade machines, a small put-put area, (cool murals, not much else) a small haunted house too frightening for >8 year olds, a gift shop with expensive AI art, and a server that will ask why you’re not tipping him (when your husband was planning on tipping generously!) Again, the food was fantastic. (if you don’t mind chasing down a begrudged employee for ranch)

Sadly, our experience at The New Wave was disappointing due to the service from our waitress, Dana. From the start, she didn’t seem welcoming or engaged. There was very little acknowledgment when we were seated, and it felt like we were more of a burden than guests.
Not long after, a bigger party of 8 came in, from that point on, we were basically forgotten. She gave them all her attention — no check-ins, no refills, nothing for us.
As someone who’s worked in restaurants, I get that large tables can mean bigger tips, but every guest deserves the same level of care. It really felt like she prioritized money over good service, and that was frustrating to see and experience firsthand.
