We made reservation at the Grill, lake view, 12:30. Reservation accepted. However, the Grill was not open until 5:00 pm. We were seated indoors at the atrium cafe! Not happy for a 44th anniversary lunch
We visited for our anniversary dinner and had a wonderful experience. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was outstanding. The ambiance was lovely with a wonderful view of the lake and sunset.
Superb place for champagne brunch! Variety of courses offered all equally delicious with an incomparable dessert bar. Live piano music softly played in the background while our server poured champagne mimosas. Elegantly appointed and wonderful fine dining. The service was impeccable. We will enjoy visiting often when we are in town!
I thought the food was fine: some pockier members pf my party has minor issues. My problem was the lack of intuitive service. We sat down and were asked if we wanted mimosas. Yes please (I miss the days pf the carafe pf the table, but whatever). I had to flag someone down to ask for coffee and water. Then I had to find her again and say that the others at the table needed cups as well, and could we have some cream? The mimosas were refilled nicely (except for the one of our party who was just drinking orange juice. He took a big swig and found it had been refilled as a mimosa while he was getting food). The one little pot of cream was never refilled, and it went quickly. I finally got whipped cream off the buffet for my coffee. The little water glasses were never refilled. either. That bugged all of us at the table.
Dinner was overall very lovely. My salmon was cooked perfectly while my husbands pork chop was definitely overcooked and dry but it was still tasty. Complimentary Chef's bite was the best thing we ate! Sides were just okay. Decor is in dire need of an update but I can appreciate that it was very clean despite the age. And the view is nature's added beauty.
Leon and his team were great. They made my wife's birthday very special. The hostess sat us at a table by the window as requested. Our waitress was very attentive. The food was very good. Thanks to all for a great experience.
On Labor Day weekend's Sunday brunch, another nosy guest decided to physically threaten my husband and I for hearing a cuss word used in our private conversation while walking by our table. Our sweet waitress tried to get the angry guy to go back to his own table without success while my husband and I sat horrified and mortified. No other guest heard our conversation and it was clear this guy was looking for a free meal and a fight. The manager Leon had us move across the dining room for our whispered swear word violating their dining room rules and comped the angry guy's meal. I was not sure what planet a whispered f-word in a private funny conversation would supersede physical intimidation with the threat of physical violence but that planet is Branson, more specifically the Chateau Grill. We will not return.
We have had this brunch before and been satisfied but this was even better than we remembered. It's a little pricey, but great food is expensive. We had a very good experience
Nice ambiance..........with the glaring exception that the customer dress code for an expensive restaurant is almost non-existent. Shorts, t-shirts, and flip-flops are just not appropriate. The food is OK, although NOT worth the price. Rolls that are rock hard, steak cooked wrong, and small portions. Each table was missing even salt and pepper, plus sweeteners. Cutlery was not appropriate to a high-end restaurant (knife and fork only, not even a spoon, let alone more food specific items. $200 for two people (without adult beverages) is WAY too expensive. Look elsewhere................
The service was second to none. Our waiter was the absolute best! He helped not only with our service, but also with questions about the restaurant's breakfast menu and with recommendations for shows around Branson. Our food however, was a miss. I ordered The land and Sea & my husband ordered the filet. I grew up with high quality beef and this was not it! I was expecting more of a steak to melt in your mouth for the price not be real chewy. My husband's was the same. A filet definitely should be melting in your mouth for higher quality, but it just didn't! My daughter's lobster ravioli was fantastic on the other hand! I would not recommend this restaurant for high quality steaks, but if lobster ravioli is what you're looking for it is a definite must try!

We celebrated my Sister and Brother-in-law's Wedding Anniversary. It was a wonderful evening, and the service was very professional. It was truly a beautiful peaceful place to enjoy dinner, and the view of the lake was very peaceful, including the sunset. We highly recommend this place and want to Thank everyone for making our memories one to keep forever!
The view from the outdoor terrace is lovely. It was quiet and quaint. We went for an elevated dining experience which is what the menu suggests. Tried to order the lobster bisque, told it was no longer on the menu. So we started with the lamb chop appetizer. The flavor was fantastic however there were only two and there was only one bite per chop. Two bites for $21? So then we decided to try the crab cake appetizer. Flavor was meh and it was mostly breading and very little crab for $27. We decided against the entrees at that point and left. The prices didn't scare us off but the value wasn't there and in the case of the crab cakes, neither was the flavor. The decor is ho hum and not befitting the upscale ambience we were after. The drinks were good and the outdoor setting at sunset overlooking the lake is nice. It does have an excellent view. Wish the food had been too.
The sea bass was excellent. The seafood linguini was overpriced and bland. There are other restaurants in Branson that have better taste for similar cost. The view of the lake was very nice.
The hostess was overwhelmed, she needed more help. It shouldn't take 14 minutes to get a table, when you already have a reservation, and they just opened. After we were seated, we had to ask the manager for water, because the waiter never came to our table. They seemed disorganized.
Took over two hours to get our food. Horrible service. Very over priced for the quality. The food was so bland and came out cold. There were 3 tables that got their food and checks before we even got our food. It use to be a great spot but has gone way down hill!
