This restaurant has greatly improved since my first visit 2-years ago. The ribs and chicken were excellent along with the accompanying side dishes. The price per person was very reasonable for all you can eat. Our server was very accommodating and brought us refills on each item we requested. A point to note is there are no left over carry outs allowed except for the deserts. Great food, great service, glad we stopped by.

Not impressed AT ALL. For people with a gluten intolerance, you’d think Paula Deen (of all the “world class” chefs) could come up with a few gluten free entrees. We tried calling before hand to check on the menu and no one answered.

The food was ok. The store was cute and The resturant section looked like a glorified Lubys. I don’t recommend.

Tameika was awesome. She has such a sweet personality and stayed on top of her tables.

The manager and employees, really want to be there to sever you. The service and staff is knowledgeable the food is savory! I enjoyed the family style dinners. You have to try it!

This was worth the stop. The food was fabulous. Serious southern charm from all the staff, they were wonderful. The restaurant itself is just beautiful and clean.

This was the first and last time I will dine at this restaurant. The young man that seated us was not friendly on boarder line rude. The waitress couldn't speak English well, moved extremely slow, and waited over 25 minutes to get refills drinks and food. For family style and servings, small, not enough for more than a table spoon of sides or chicken and dumplings. While taste was okay not worth the price.

A little disappointed in this location. I have been to a few different location and as for service and quality of food this location lacks with the others did. I had the meatloaf. It was very dry. No barbecue sauce on it very little portion. Asked for a few refills of the side dishes took over 10 minutes. Sometimes we had to ask two or three times. Wasn’t very crowded at the time we went. Maybe the management staff needs to benchmark other locations.

We just moved to the area from Las Vegas and I took my sister to the Branson MO location today for lunch. We were so excited to try this resteraunt and we were really looking forward to going. The server was nice, but didn't really check on us except to ask if we wanted dessert and to drop our check. We ordered the spare ribs, catfish, green beans, baked mac and cheese, okra, and the candied yams. The Mac and cheese was not baked, it was runny and was really bland. It reminded me of velveeta shells and cheese that you buy from the grocery store. The yams were ok at best, they needed some butter and some brown sugar in the worst way. The green beans were way underseasoned and lacked flavor. I wouldn't be shocked if they were canned green beans and they get dressed up with a little onion and a small chunk of potato. The ribs weren't seasoned consistently, meaning one of the ribs was pretty good, well seasoned and tender, and the other one lacked seasoning. The catfish was tasty, well seasoned fish and batter, and cooked to perfection. The okra was fried well, but lacked seasoning as well. All said, I would say the food just needed some love. Maybe my expectations were too high because of the name on the resteraunt, but based on the menu prices and how the resteraunt looked, I expected better quality of food, a neater presentation of the food, and glass/ceramic dishware. I eat on plastic plates and paper plates at home all the time. However, when I am spending 90 bucks plus a tip for two people to eat, I expect better quality all the way around. Overall, the food was OK, but I probably wouldn't chose to eat there again.

Didn’t even make it through the front door! My family and I were in Branson for a baseball tournament and decided to try! I was in the car finishing up some work so my husband and kids went in to get a table. The hostess informed my husband that if I was not present at the time of seating I wouldn’t be able to join them and I would have to be seated by myself per their family style restaurant policy. To say the least we decided to enjoy a family dinner elsewhere.

The manager is a huge a*zhole. We ordered the pork chops and they were NOT cooked all the way. We told them and was told it's that color because of the seasonings. We each took a bite or two and just couldn't eat it. Well, we got sick. When we called to complain he was very rude and said, "that's what hospitals are made for." I would avoid this place at all cost!!!!!! There are many more restaurants in Branson that are not rude and have way better food and service!

We ate our Thanksgiving meal tonight at the Paula Dean’s in Branson, Missouri. First let me say that I am a 70 year old lady and usually do not write reviews but I have to speak out on this experience. If I were Paula Dean I would be ashamed to have my name associated with that meal that was fed to us tonight. It was the most disgusting meal I have ever eaten. The potatoes were so watery you could pour them out of the bowl. The green beans tasted like they had been poured directly out of a can without heating. The turkey was dry and looked like it was cooked a week ago. The cornbread dressing was nothing more than stouffers breadcrumbs with a little water sprinkled over them. None of it was warm, all was bland, absolutely no seasoning. For two of us we only received but a couple spoonfuls of each dish, not nearly enough food for two people. We were never served refills of our drink and did not even get what we asked for. I will never ever eat at a Paula Dean’s again. Disgusting

Great restaurant. It has some really good food. The fried chicken is phenomenal and so is the fried pork chops. The only opportunity I have is consistency I've been there a few times and when they are good they are great but on the other occasion, it was fine.
