This was always my go to lunch spot while visiting SDC. Gluten free options too, similar to chipotle or moes -just not as clean ingredients wise. However, last time we visited the park they were shut down, without warning. I was grateful to have a Larabar in my backpack or I would have been even hungrier not eating all day. We are planning another park day this week, and I'm super disappointed that this food location is not listed on silver dollar city's website any longer. Makes it hard for a family with food allergies and plant based eating styles to go to the park for the day. I guess we'll be packing a lunch.

My "bowl" had about 1/3 cup hamburger, pretty much tasteless as in unseasoned.

The staff there were very nice but the food was not good. Everything lacked flavor and you didn't get much for your money. It definitely was not worth it for the price you pay (approx $10 per menu choice). Everyone at my table agreed.

My family enjoyed our dinner at the BBQ sampling. Mac & cheese was amazing! Everything tasted good and there was plenty of food. Daughter loved the desserts so much she had one of each. Ladies who served and waited on us were all very friendly, helpful and kind. Atmosphere was perfect in providing a nice family dinner for us.

Decent food, but definitely not homemade, which is the impression they give. It was a fun experience & there was friendly service, but a bit expensive for what is provided. They should come down about $10 on the price per person because it's obviously not worth $22 per person. This buffet definitely caused buyers remorse.
We were disappointed in the BBQ sampling event. The food at the event was not nearly as good as we expected it to be. The chicken was very dry and the ribs were tough. The pulled pork was greasy. The brisket and the sides were good. Our service was minimal, no checking for refills, etc. We attend many events at Silver Dollar City. We would not attend another sampling event based on the quality of food at this one.

It was a rainy day so only 3 of the party showed up and we were able to attend the buffet early. However, the food was disappointing for the price. Most of the food on the buffet was cold and seems to sitting there a while.
The food was good, not worth the price. Nothing indicates the price of the food until you go to the checkout. The server was excellent however one of the ladies bringing the food out was kind of rude.
I enjoyed this! If you are looking for a "Golden Corral" type buffet, this is probably not for you. But, if you are like me and have always wanted to try as many of the new Silver Dollar City foods as possible, it is great! I went late in the day, and there was one item that had run out, but there were other items available that weren't listed on the menu, so it was not a problem for me. It is served buffet style and you can eat as much as you want.

I would definitely not recommend this sampling event. The food was prepared in a buffet style manner and was not even close to fresh. We could tell that most items would have been good if served fresh but had been sitting under warmers for quite some time. This was a huge disappointment and was very overpriced for the quality that was given.
Our family thoroughly enjoys SDC, but the food at this sampling event was not good. I was able to eat my salad and enjoy that, but that is about the extent of it. I feel that our money would have been better spent just eating at one of the stands in the park. I will not spend any more money on sampling events at SDC, and I will tell my friends and family to avoid it as well. The price was just way too high for the quality of food. Typically, I really enjoy the food at SDC, and this experience will not stop us from further enjoying the theme park!
The food wasn't really suited for a Buffet. I'm sure it would have been better cooked and served as soon as it was ready. I did enjoy sampling the shark steak and alligator, had I liked them, they were alright from the buffet. They ran out of the only thing my grandkids liked. I had only allowed them one small serving to try and see what they liked and told them they could go back for more of what they liked. so they ended up at the desserts without really having a meal. I spent more than I usually do thinking it would be a treat but was disappointed.
