Again, I am quite unsure why the ratings are so low and the place is looked down. Again it’s a theme park but to me sometimes these restaurants are even better than a fast food restaurant. I may be wrong and incorrect but that’s my own standing. For a theme park this is pretty comparable and good being similar to barbecue joints in town. I suggest giving them a try and checking them out.
The smoked turkey was delicious & not too dry. The staff was knowledgeable about gluten. The meat is GF, the bbq sauce packets are Gf . The portion of turkey for one meat platter was generous. The corn confetti salad was fresh & tasty.
I got the brisket, which was juicy, tender, and smoked to perfection. I will say that it could have been seasoned better because I needed salt and bbq sauce. All the sides weren't so good. The macoroni and coleslaw had no flavor. The smoked strawberry cobbler tasted weird. The bread roll was good, but they don't have real butter. My daughter ordered the smoked half chicken. She said it was fine. Overall, I enjoyed the juicy and tender brisket. 😋
