Bring your microwave if eating Thanksgiving dinner here. And no sweet potatoes or cranberry sauce, so being that. Service was good and hospitable. Just don’t get excited about the turkey!

We tried Shepherd’s Grill for the first time. It was a Sunday for lunch with our church group just after noon and it wasn’t busy at all whereas other places in the area were swamped. My wife and I shared a sampler platter for $23.00 and my soft drink was $3.00. We thought the service was good and that the portions were worth the price. We both ate our fill and still took home food. However, we both considered the meats to be just satisfactory as the ribs were not falling off the bone and none of the meats were all that savory or tender. But for the price, we were satisfied and will most likely come back again some other Sunday with our church group.

Brisket was tough, greasy. Fries very tasty, not so found of potato salad. Potato salad tasted like shipped in a plastic container. Meal was overpriced.

Horrible! Worst BBQ Ever in my 62 years of life. Ordered smoked brisket sandwich, and it consisted of one thin slice I think it was brisket. It was tough and ton of fat. Technically no stars is the rating !

Used to be such good food. Now it's a little more than fast food. Such a shame they've downgraded.

Don’t waste your money or time here! Breakfast was self serve and most of the time was empty and not refilled often even as more ppl came in to eat. Our waitress brought us our tickets that didn’t even belong to us, they was from a dinner meal from the night before! She didn’t even look at the receipt before she gave it to us. We had 6 ppl at our table 2 adults and 2 children on one ticket and two adults on another ticket. The machines went down so was told we couldn’t get a ticket for our bill, went to pay anyway. Cards couldn’t be accepted due to machine being down so everyone in the restaurant had to pay with cash. The two ppl in our party of 6 on a ticket didn’t have cash and atm was down as well so I offered to pay for there’s just to get us out of there due to everyone was upset about the situation and the front of the house lady had every tables ticket wrong and over charging everyone. Because I was forced to pay with cash which I did not want to do and pay for the other couples breakfast that was with us( or be forced to sit there for several hours) they then added the bills together and charged us a 20% gratuity without even telling us! Breakfast was $12.95 per adult and $7.95 per child and my bill was $112!!! When asked why so high they informed me bc it was a party of 6 they charge the 20% tip no choice given for a waitress who brought us a drinks and we never seen again until we was trying to leave and self serve breakfast buffet! After multiple ppl left without paying at all and everyone in the restaurant yelling and screaming mad I paid and left. We got robbed by these ppl and I will never spend money in the mill restaurant ever again. They should be ashamed of themselves for treating customers they way they did. Completely rude tones and absolutely didn’t care about messing up the pricing on our tickets not to mention everyone else’s there that morning. This all happened on September 4, 2023 DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY, it’s a rip off!!!

So disappointing, $73 for 4 meals. The meat was all extremely tough, and my beef was watery. Chicken was very dry and the ribs as well. It smelled amazing from outside. After we ordered, it took 35 minutes to get our food. Other people came in after us ordered and were almost finished before we received our food.

Horrible food.
The menu is not what is shown online.
No mashed taters, meatloaf. Just burgers with no seasoning, overcooked brisket pulled pork and ribs.

Went on the Shepherd of the Hills guided tour, then returned for a delicious lunch at the Shepherds Grill.

The food that isn’t old is mediocre.Be careful, I suspect they are not properly rotating old food out. My ranch dressing was separated, old, and spoiled. My nacho chips were stale.

The selection of grilled meats was fantastic. We found it difficult to choose from the enticing options, as everything sounded delicious. Fortunately, our high expectations were met, and we were thoroughly satisfied with our dining experience. Without a doubt, we will be returning for more culinary delights in the future. The exceptional staff and service, coupled with the clean and welcoming atmosphere, truly enhanced our dining experience.
Parking: We were there on the weekday with plenty of parking space.
Kid-friendliness: Kids loved the place and the food.
