Shogun Japanese Steak And Sushi

We are visiting branson decided to try this place out because we love hibachi it did not dissapoint! Service was great! Friendly staff and amazing cook! Salad was fresh! Highly recommend worth the money and very clean restruant

We love Shoguns, we ate with a couple tonight & their 2 children from Kansas City who paid for our meal!!!! Thank you if by happen stance you read this, we are so appreciative. We will pay it forward!!!!

Not alpha gal friendly, I repeat NOT ALPHA GAL FRIENDLY.
The Bad:
It is a steak house so obviously there will be allergens present (duh); however, my alpha gal friends were assured that everything would be cooked separately so there would be no room for cross contamination. This did not happen. My two alpha gal friends and my vegetarian friend got sick from eating there. They had veggie hibachi and sushi. It's hard to pick out exactly where the exposure came from, it literally could have been anywhere (again, steak house duh).
The Good:
This was something that I wanted to share with my friends. I have been to this restaurant off and on for the last decade and have enjoyed each time. I never walked away feeling like I personally had a bad experience. If you don't have an allergy it's a great place to take your family on a trip to Branson.

First time here today, our chef was great at entertaining us and cooking our food. Everything was so delicious. I had the steak with noodles hibachi and my husband had steak and scallops. Meal came with soup, salad and 2 shrimps. The steak was so tender and scallops were cooked perfectly. There was only one hibachi chef available so we had to wait for 30 minutes but it was worth it. Thank you for the great experience. We will definitely come back next time we visit Branson.

Great spot for Hibachi while on vacation. Great staff and the food was excellent. Will definitely be returning next year when we are in town. My children loved it.

Not a bad place but not exceptional by any means.

Food was ok. Service was good. Staff was friendly. Atmosphere was a bit loud and the decor is old and dated.

Hard plastic plates and bowls which I didn't like but we dealt with it. The chef was a bit messy while cooking, which is to be expected, but was a bit of a turn off for me. I've been to many Japanese steak houses and most chefs are good at not making a mess. When the chef was pprtioning out the rice, some dropped in a person's glass, some didn't make it to another person's plate. When he was pouring the ginger and the yum yum sauce, he spilled it everywhere on the grill and didn't wipe it up. He then put all the food on the grill in the sauce that spilled. Not good if people have allergies. I wasnt happy about that.

We will skip this place when we come back next time.

Took a while to get our drinks and even longer for the chef to come out. The portion to price is way overpriced.

They have excellent sushi here. We did get some egg roll appetizers and spring roll appetizers. Both were deep fried. I thought the spring rolls would be wrapped in rice paper but they weren't. Still good even though deep fried. I love to go here for the spider roll. It's one of my favorites!
There is also a hibachi grill here where the chef will come out and cook for a group.

Steak and chicken were pretty good service was okay but shrimp was very underdone kinda slimey never experienced shrimp like that while eating hibachi

I would have left a zero if I could. The soda was so flat. The food had no flavor. Waitress was not there. Had to ask other people for checks and refills. I will not go back.
