There were ants all over around and on our table. The waitress clothes were nasty dirty. The food was ok. Should have known since no one was there and it was prime time for dinner.
Had breakfast...ordered buffet and watered. Asked for a couple extra napkins and straws. Got our plates and served buffet...didn't see server. Waited for straws and napkins and she served tables around us but didn't come back. Caught eye of another server and asked for straws and go them. Simple. Our server finally made a trip to our table and we explained we had asked another server for napkin. So our glasses needed filling...and guess what? Server didn't come. So got up walked to tea urn and she started yelling across the resturaunt.it was her job. So I advised she should do it and get manager.
We hardly ask for anything..but this was crazy. Sorry the employee pool is so shallow as to enploy lazy mouthy.folks like this.
I miss eating at showney,s and I love all of the food at the buffet
If I could give this place 0 stars I definitely would. Worst service and the absolute rudest people working. We were not even able to be seated because the rude hostess wouldn't allow someone who was not eating to come in and sit with the rest if the group because they had a bottled drink. One of the servers said yes it was fine but that rude hostess got highly upset and refused us service. I definitely wouldn't recommend this to anyone.
This place is horrible. The food was bad. The building is old and it is way over priced.
The pricing was outrageous for the amount of food that was available. The food was fair but not near great. $44 for two buffets and two drinks is a mite excessive considering it was not that good. I have marked Shoneys off my list and I will gladly share my oppinion.
If you like to eat anything this is your place. But If you care about what you eat and how you are served DO NOT eat at Branson, Mo. Shoney's! If you do not believe me then go there yourself. We had to wait for a menu order for almost 1 hour. And the restaurant was only half full at the time! And the waitress was VERY RUDE! She could not have been having a bad day because they just opened up! I do not usually write bad reviews, but this experience was horrible.

Do not go worst food and they steal right out of your wallet.
I don't normally get on place and bash,.but today I do.
We went to Shoneys the day after Christmas and not only is it a expensive hotel food experience. If you have more than a party of 6 they automatically card you top of 25%, this is at a buffet waiter brought us our drinks that is all and got a 44.00 tip. Manager refused to take the tip off. We always tip but 44.00 when you did nothing. She said it's posted on door not an official sign either by the way
Service not there. Food is awful, way to make money force you to pay 25% tip.

We arrived 20 min before the breakfast buffet ended. The servers let us know we could still get breakfast while it lasted. The food was still hot & delicious. Just before taking it all down, our server let us know again. We really appreciate the staff being so accommodating & courteous.
Thanks Shoney's.

My boyfriend & I went here for Christmas dinner in Branson, Mo. We were EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. The food was disgusting, I couldn't eat it.the potatoes tasted like potatoes you buy in the box, the ham looked like it was boiled in water, the greenbeans tasted like it came out of a can & the fried chicken looked like it was thrown into the oil with no type of batter. We had to approximately 40 min. in total for them to bring out the fried chicken (the first batch was gone in seconds, because everyone was waiting) although the waitress attempted to bring me a piece of chicken while waiting for the second batch, it didn't compensate for the lack thereof. When we left, I told the the lady at the front desk my sentiments, we've so much as not received any kind of apology or any discount for the inconvenience and was charged $41 for food that tasted like crap. Then have the gall to tell my boyfriend that the card wont go through unless he left a tip. (Which we didn't) why woul we have to leave a tip if we have to get our own food? Its a buffet for gods sake. With that said, we learned our lesson & we definitely will not be back. Ya'll need to hire better cooks who know what their doing in the kitchen. Lastly, customer service could definitely use some improvements.
The food was bland on the buffet for Christmas! The mashed potatoes were runny, the public restrooms were not available to the public. I witnessed kids and adults needing to use the restroom (including myself)and was turned away. I'm very disappointed, and vexed.
