Heard a lot of really good things about this restaurant and was looking forward to trying their breakfast buffet plus they were right across the road from the resort we were staying at. Went on Saturday morning and they were closed. Was so disappointed.
Went toA buffet with a tour group. Horrible food!!!!
Lunch and Dinner are not available for dine-in, so we ordered delivery within the resort. They did not have all the items that were listed on their menu, and the food they do have is very over priced. The also add an automatic 20% gratuity to all orders. The deliver server was extremely nice. The food was okay but definitely not worth the price.
I was with 45 people with a bus tour for dinner on 10/18/22. Instead of welcoming us, the woman in charge starting yelling orders on where to sit and treating us like we were kindergartners. She told us about the buffet and let us know that she had only sliced 45 pieces of pie so we better not take more than one. The meal was the terrible and the result of laziness in trying to make anything tasty. Canned green beans and corn without seasoning, dried out chicken, and rolls that were very stale. There was corned beef but I did not try it. Very unpleasant start to the evening.
Worst nachos ever! About 2 tablespoons of cheese for the entire plateful.
Affordable, food was ok, service was awesome though!
Stayed at the Welk Resort and the Stage Door Restaurant is where they have their "non complimentary" breakfast. We walked in, it was super dark and dreary. A HUGE complex. Finally found the breakfast area, my daughter and her friend looked at the buffet of breakfast and came back requesting to go elsewhere. They said everything looked awful. We decided to go else where for the amount of money. The waitress that came to us was very friendly though.
We stayed and the resort, but chose not to eat in the restaurant because we were not seated 6 feet apart.
Went for breakfast. Service was good, but the food was less than stellar. Scrambled eggs were very watery. We prepaid at the resort and got a discount. Would not eat there again.
Breakfast was delicious

Breakfast is ok. The scrambled eggs were like plastic. Biscuits and bacon were good. Fruit offered on the buffet is like a can of fruit dumped into a bowl. I understand there may be difficulty in providing fresh fruit due to Calvin but it would almost be better not to offer fruit then to have the obviously canned mushy she version. The staff is excellent but it’s a shame the food does not represent the quality of the staff. Breakfast made me not want to eat other meals here. Just mediocre.
Nice service, great value, okay food.
A large variety of food from which to choose - from unique appetizers, sandwiches, and full meals. Service was very good. Visit was during COVID-19, shortly after restaurants were allowed to open. They did a good job of making me feel safe.
After three meals over four days I’d comfortably say to skip dining at the Stage Door Restaurant on site. No one told us upon checkin that menus were being redone so we rummaged through our room looking for something to tell us restaurant info with no avail. In fact there wasn’t any kind of guest packet at all. After finally reaching the restaurant and no menu in hand a very sweet person began to verbally run through the menu. Ugh. Once food arrived we all were heartily disappointed. Any high end frozen meal would’ve been equivalent and maybe we wouldn’t of grumbled about it if the prices weren’t $$. If your family is hungry muster the energy to leave and bring something back.
Love there food
