We came down a few months back for a show, was told the park/play ground is open year around for kids to play and enjoy. Bought tickets for 2 adults and 5 kids promised my kids a fun filled day playing at there area. Got her to be told "The park is closed until Dec 16." This is/was a complete waste of a trip now having 5 pissed off kids not to mention the nearly $400.00 in show tickets to gain access to the park. All I can is buyer beware when dealing with these people. They will tell you what ever you want to hear to get your money then not follow thru with there promises. If I could have gave them less than 1 star I would.

The staff, property and play was amazing. The meal was very disappointing. It was lacking in flavor and presentation. The green bean casserole consisted of canned green beans with cream of mushroom soup with no flavor. The mash potatoes were instant with no seasoning. The dressing has a strange taste and consistency. The roll was hard and cold and the apple dessert was not warm. I was so looking forward to the meal from the advertising. It did not meet expectations.
However, I want to emphasize again the the performance did not disappoint.

If you love the movie "A Christmas Story", you'll love the live performance at The Shepherd of the Hills. We throughly enjoyed it.
Just a note, if you buy your tickets online and you do not see seat info on your ticket, you'll need to go to the ticket office to get your tickets that show your seat assignment.
Enjoy!

Went on 2 different days to do the zip line. The first time was great. The people were very friendly. Unfortunately the second time the experience was not as pleasant. The lady that was setting us up for the second ride seemed a little short. She told me to turn the camera off before the ride. Said she would turn it back on after everyone loaded. She came back, messed with the camera, we went on the ride only to find the camera was never on. This was a bucket list item for our 75 year old aunt.

We saved on tickets by purchasing from the "purple building" in Branson. This was our first trip to the Whodunnit Dinner theater. The show was great! The food was good and there was plenty of it.
I just wish there would be more options for the food. My husband is a picky eater and I want to bring him there.

The person who was to meet our group did not show up. Also, we were not told the name he handicap section was the nosebleed section.

Had a great time at Pumpkinfest. There were lots of activities, well spaced out so it didnt feel crowded. Plenty of nice areas for taking fall photos too. We used the Area Appreciation discount to see the outdoor theater show too. My only complaint, and it's a small one, is that snacks were a bit pricey, except the pretzels which were huge...& delicious, and well worth $6.

This was our second visit to the play and we were not disappointed. This time we brought the whole family and they had a good time. The only suggestion I have is that someone needs to be really serious about communicating where people should wait and have someone there to direct. There was a lot of confusion and a lot of customers with mobility issues. It's apparent that employees are doing double duty but everyone stayed pleasant. We hope to come back sooner.

This was my first visit and my husband’s second to Shephard of the Hills. Everyone was so kind and helpful. The meal although not great , the service was exceptional!

The group that sang did a phenomenal job and in addition to being talented in singing were very funny ! We are happy to hear of the father’s continued health and will pray for it to remain positive.

We thought we would walk to the show itself and got lost a couple of times then finally decided the best path was riding the tram although the swinging bridge was fun for us older folks at night !

The show and all the actors were extremely friendly. A heads up loud blank guns would be used during presentation would have been nice , but other than that it was great!

Me and my husband absolutely enjoyed this. Even though we showed up an hour early they were so nice and welcoming. We did luck out on them letting us join the tour before us since they only had 2 horses left. The 2 ladies we had we so funny and gave us so many great stories and information. I highly recommend doing the horse back and going to watch the show to see if the horse you rode was a good or bad guy. Just a heads up they only take cash or check

A great option to visit with your kids or friends, I visited it on autumn and they have a lot of activities and beautiful decorations. The food is good and it the price worth it.

This is a must see outdoor play. Listen to the audio book first.

Hadn't been here since I was a kid. Now we brought 4 of our kids up for the Pumpkin Festival. The ambiance was great, the mountain coaster was fun, and the ropes course was fun. The walk to the parking lot was brutally long, which made going back to the car for lunch tough. In the evening, we did the "Whodunnit" dinner, which was a huge hit with my wife, my 14 year old, and my 9 year old. It was a bit over my 7 year old's and 5 year old's heads. All in all, fun time. Views are spectacular.
