We ordered the Love Boat A, which was on the pricier side. However, given that Branson is a tourist town, the price was not too surprising. It came with miso soup, which wasn’t salty but was cold. It also included a salad with a good amount of dressing. The quality of the fish for the nigiri and sashimi tasted fresh. The Spicy Tuna Roll and Wakyoto Special Roll were run-of-the-mill rolls. The wait was about 30 minutes, which wasn’t ideal.

We had a fantastic experience at Wakyoto Japanese Restaurant. Our waitress was hands-down the MVP — cheerful, patient, super knowledgeable, and full of great descriptions and recommendations. She kept the refills coming and made the whole experience feel easy and fun.
The food? 🔥
Not only did everything taste amazing, it looked amazing too. Hot dishes came out hot, sushi tasted fresh, and the presentation was on point. It did take a little extra time for the food to come out, so bring a bit of patience — but trust me, it’s absolutely worth the wait.
Portion sizes were perfect (not skimpy, not overwhelming — chef’s kiss 👌), and the restaurant itself was clean and comfortable.
Overall, a great spot and definitely one we’ll be going back to. 🍣✨

My wife and I stopped here on Christmas Eve and did not regret it! The sushi rolls were huge and the service was excellent. The spicy ramen stayed hot until it was eaten, and was full of flavor. Definitely will be back next time we're in Branson

What a lovely surprise, the food was delicious; when a restaurant uses different rice for their sushi you know it's good! Our server Laura was an absolute delight as well, a fantastic restaurant to get food

Server was very nice and accommodating and helpful to my husband who has celiac in finding something gluten free he could eat, (as he’s very picky and won’t eat raw fish) everything my family ordered was delicious, and my one year old loved the crab salad ;)

This is some of the best sushi I have ever had. It was SO good, and so was the chicken teriyaki bowl we had. Service was excellent and it was just a really great meal. If you enjoy Japanese cuisine, definitely give it a try!

The atmosphere was amazing. It was quiet with dim lights. The servers were nice but a little slow moving. The food was ok. It was the average hibachi food experience. However, it was very expensive. While the presentation was fancy the flavors were not equivalent to price. If this was the normal priced hibachi place I would’ve given a much higher rating but since it was presented as a much fancier restaurant the rating represents that.
