We happened upon this place kind of by accident. Oh my, have we been missing out! We fell in love with the food, service and atmosphere. Don't let the outside fool you! If you are looking for the best oriental cuisine, this is it!

Food was bad so overpriced. They did not even have weekday lunch specials. How can I get cheaper sushi in NYC.

Eaten here multiple times, and every time I’m glad I went here. The service is impeccable and the food might be even better, if that’s even possible! By far the best restaurant I’ve eaten in Branson!

Prices were high for sushi, and there were limited options. Waiter was good. Can't compare well to most Japanese restaurants that we've been to. Salad was good.

I HIGHLY recommend!!!! From the outside it doesn’t look like much, but as soon as you walk in it is as if you’ve been transported out of the country. The service is so friendly and inviting it felt like we were at a friend’s home. And the food is top notch! You can tell the chef’s are passionate and value great quality and excellence, because you can taste it through the food. We had a dinner box w/ bulgogi & a Bulgogi dinner (12oz meat). We couldn’t believe how delicious every single item was!And coupled with the atmosphere..it is so relaxing and peaceful we left their feeling like we had just went to a spa. Seriously. It was our first visit and there will be many more trips to Wakyoto Japanese Restaurant in the future!

Some of the best rolls and service in town! Has an oldschool ambiance(which I personally enjoy) but worth a try while visiting Branson or as a local.

The spicy ramen was delicious and all the other dishes my family shared were exceptional. The only disappointment I had was living 5 hours away from this great restaurant.

my card was over charged, total was roughly 60 + tip, just noticed card was charged $80.I’d avoid this place, food was fine but that’s super suspect.(Probably) unrelated, but also had my debit compromised soon after.

My favorite sushi place in SWMO. I usually do take-out but on my last pick-up, one of the ladies told me I should dine in next time (didn't catch her name, but so kind!). I dined in today and the atmosphere and service were excellent. Gavin was super friendly, funny, and made some delicious suggestions! A great lunch with dessert to go (also delicious).

We chose Wakyoto based on the google reviews rankings although the experience has not matched the averaged reviews the restaurant should have.-1: Atmosphere: very dark place with loud take-out system noises (rings, the owner shouts on the phone to the customers, etc.)-1: Sanitary: There is a kitchen smog in the entire restaurant and you will have trouble breathing. As a result, my entire family had to take shower afterwards and change clothes since we smelled like kitchen smog.-1: Quality of food: We ordered Sushi Deluxe platter and few spicy noodles. Rice was very soggy in the sushi and seafood did not felt fresh at all. Noodles were not well done and felt cheap for $14 posted.Overall, very underwhelming experience and definitely I do not recommend the restaurant to any Sushi or Japanese food eaters.
