Wheelhouse Catfish & Wings

Holy moly, after a long day of going to caves and museums this was the absolute best buffet to go to. The catfish was great, loved the garlic knots and corn poppers. The bread pudding covered in ice cream was wonderful. Everyone left fat and happy.

Rare to have to wait to be seated. Excellent catfish.

Catfish was great. First time eating here. It was buffet and I would rather order and take home but really good fish.

Run of the mill sort of buffet. Staff was friendly. The catfish had a slightly sweet taste, but was good. Might return on our next trip.

This place is a great choice if you hate food and/or yourself. Flavor was non-existent, bread was more dry than the Sahara Desert in the middle of summer, and the catfish and chicken has the same consistency of gum. Thank God the sodas were plentiful, that was the only thing capable of washing it down.

The food wasn't southern and the tea wasn't sweet.

Staff was friendly. The fish and hush puppies were about the only decent food on the buffet. The mixed veggies weren't even cooked. Mashed potatoes were dry. Could use a few more dessert choices. Definitely needs some updating and some experienced cooks to put together a better buffet.

The food wasnt bad was ok well the buffet was anyway my daughter ordered a burger and it was horrible it was a microwave patty...my bill was $67 but I was charged $80 on my card and didnt realize it till we got back to our room and it sure wasnt worth $80

Nice and friendly place. Really delicious food and gracious hosts. One reviewer mentioned a musty smell when you walk in the door to the Wheel House. This is true, but that is by no means a reason to turn away. The various salads are so very delicious. I came to gouge myself on catfish, but there is so much great tasting foods to choose from. I came with my kids and they loved it too. I am giving four stars because I think there is something that can be done about the musty smell and the restroom, though it was clean, needed some attention. Other than that, I recommend this delicious buffet, there is something for everyone.
