This bar gets a 5 stars rating primarily because of Carolyn. She was the bartender working nights on the second night of our stay. She saved our vacation or at least made it so we didn’t have to go looking for another hotel. (See my review of the Thousand Hills Resort Hotel.) There were numerous problems with our room and we were getting nothing but lip service from the front desk. Late at night we were whining about it to Carolyn. She took the initiative to do something about it. She called the night maintenance man in to talk to us and he made sure the maintenance issue were addressed that night. I wish I could remember his name of the maintenance man as he deserves credit as well.

We went to Wildwood bar on Saturday and Sunday evening and we had great customer service from our bartender/server Carolyn. She made our visit fun and she was very attentive to our needs and orders. I would highly recommend her and would give her a five star review. Donnie and Sheri Herren.

The bartender MATTHEW was absolutely exceptional with his craft, his personality, his passion for his career. He worked the full bar making craft cocktails and conversing with guests from near and far. My husband and I came 2 nights in a row, just because he is so great. As if the amazing cocktails weren’t enough, The FOOD was out of this WORLD! The fried pickles, Caesar salad (incredible dressing), Chicken fried chicken with the Al dente (unbelievably cooked so fresh and to perfection)seasoned Zucchini, and red bell peppers with that juicy, marinated, then breaded chicken tasted like HEAVEN. I travel the world and have tried the top restaurants, bars, and even Michelin Rated restaurants, and the food here was something I will remember forever. My husband ordered the pesto salmon and he savored EVERY bite! The Peach cobbler was a perfect taste of homemade comfort. We took dessert to go because we were stuffed, but couldn’t say no to another possible bite of Heaven. This place is wonderful! You can order your drinks in the bar and then order food from the restaurant from your bartender and eat there or the restaurant which is right next to the bar in the hotel. What an amazing experience of flavors and fun! Our first time in Branson, and we live in OKC area. We WILL be back!! ♥️

Carolyn is a fantastic bartender. She ran the bar on her own non stop, with wall to wall customers and not a single person left unsatisfied. She never took a break, she never complained, she never had anything other than a smile on her face, and she kept our glasses filled at all times. I couldn’t have asked for any better service!

We met friends from Hot Springs that we both work with here in Branson and we agreed to have a drink at Wildwood Bar in Thousand Hills Hotel. Carolyn was the highlight of our trip to Branson.
