I used to get food here regularly. My favorite Chinese restaurant was to-go from Dierburgs! Well, today different people were working there. I selected my favorite Kung Pau, but actually got a scoop of gloppy brown sauce with a couple of chicken cubes and clumps of onion on a tray of rice. Bleh! What a shame they sold out to make their family business into a 7-11 quality franchise.

I came in on the verge of them opening and nobody acknowledged me or said anything to me. The cook yelled and said he’s busy in a nasty manner. Then I bought food and it was disgusting. I won’t be back.

I had the veggie lo mein and it tasted good but there were hardly any veggies. There was lots of cabbage but only 4 small pieces of broccoli and maybe three slivers of carrots.

This little Chinese takeout is inside of Dierbergs market at Brentwood Plaza. I highly recommend. It is clean and the food is delicious.
Vegetarian options: Veggie eggrolls, veggie fried rice, and veggie chow mein.

Lulu’s is a great option if you haven’t figured out dinner, and you’ve burned all your energy shopping for groceries at Dierbergs. It’s usually really good portions and the prices are great. I’ve never had to wait in line, and I can usually get my wife to order for us while I’m doing the self-checkout. Give them a shot the next time you want some fast Chinese takeout.
Just mediocre, even for food court/strip mall Chinese.
General Tao’s chicken, VERY band no spicy flavor, fried rice just wasn’t that good.. sorry expected better
Fairly decent Chinese food. They stop cooking food like an hour before closing so be careful showing up late. Very small selection but chicken is crispy and fried rice is very good.
Iconic STL Chinese. Lulu is the place to celebrate Chinese New year. This 2022 is the year of the Tiger. Lulu gives you a feeling of celebrating all year long

Nice the noodles I like with vegetables and chicken ???
Got the sesame chicken and fried rice, both were really good and tasted fresh, I also ordered right at 11am and tasted amazing. got crab Rangoon and taste very authentic 5/5 recommend for a quick bite and can save some for later.
Jenny Lu the founder is so rude and unprofessional. She try to hit me and threatened me because I didn’t give her my own phone to confirm an Uber delivery to a customer. You don’t deserve to own a business. I would never spend a penny in that dirty place.
Lulu Chinese Express located inside Dierbergs StoreShop and eatThat’s what life suppose to be
Lulu's is arguably one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in STL!! I'm a huge fan of Panda Express, but I eat at Lulu's about as often. I work nearby so it's really simple to run over and grab a bite to eat. On top of that, the food tastes great and is reasonably priced. Now, this may be specific to me but the guy who works there in the evenings when I'm usually there is really friendly and he seems to appreciate it when you say thank you in Chinese (he doesn't speak much English but he's very expressive and does a great job communicating). Lulu's, you have a lifelong customer.
