Neat place in a nice small town. Plenty of room for families to enjoy good food or a just stop for a cocktail or two.

We stopped in for dinner while passing through. We both had a margarita and fish dinners. The margaritas were great, the fish was tasty, garlic mashed was not bad, the salad bar had a great selection, but the french fries were half raw/uncooked. Other than that, it was good. We'd stop again if we were passing through.

Tall Paul's is a small village restaurant. The food is plain every day food, that is delicious. They serve alcohol, and make yummy drinks. They are closed on Sunday.

I have to say this establishment has gone downhill under the new ownership. I don't like to say it because the lady who runs it is super nice and trying her best but her kitchen staff is seriously letting her down. We've tried it 3 times and all 3 times the food has been mediocre at best. We tried the French dip and it was extremely fatty and chewy and the auju was off putting. French fries were soggy. The 2nd time we had cheeseburgers and they were dry and tasteless and fries again were soggy and inedible. This past weekend we tried the Prime Rib special and again it was a disappointing experience. Steak was drastically over cooked and no flavor. The twice baked potato was not a true version as it was only the potato mixed around. No cheese, bacon, scallions or anything and I paid extra for a twice baked potato. All 3 times have been expensive and while I don't mind paying for quality I do get upset to pay top dollar for food that is inedible, wrong and simply poor quality. We had hoped they worked through the kinks of new management but they have not. We won't go back for a long time as there's other local places that offer far better food for a more reasonable price.Good luck in the future and we truly hope you can get the staff trained and producing quality meals.

Stopped in off highway 36 on my way back to KC. Quick service, good food, and more than I could eat in one sitting. Took the rest home for later.

Sweet potato fries are very good! Infact the very best I've had anywhere, and I'm like Johnny Cash "I've been everywhere man".

Tall Paul's has Best steaks & salad bar I've EVER had and for a fraction of just the gratuity tip expected at extremely exspensive The Heifer House , Golden Oxe, Texas Roadhouse, Outback Steakhouse pale in comparison to flavor of Tall Paul's. And you can feed 4-6 people for price the big names charge for a single plate +tip.
