My wife and I recently attended an evening of music at this coffee shop. We completely enjoyed the atmosphere for a very pleasant evening of coffee, gooseberry pie and friendly folks. The hostess for the evening was so helpful.Mean Mary and Maple & Main combined for a great evening.

The coffee was good. It's a bold roast, so it can be a bit strong but not overwhelming.I had a latte with sugar-free carmel flavor, and my wife had an iced mocha.Parking: They're on the corner of main and maple with a bunch of street parkingWheelchair accessibility: Both entrances are wheelchair accessible.
Staff was very patient and helpful. The environment was clean and comfortable. The only thing that was negative is that they're special was not available. Would go back!

I really enjoy the food and the coffee here. That said, I have to disclose my latest visit - I am hoping Maple and Main will take this as constructive and either pay closer attention or increase staffing so they can pay closer attention. I am basing my timings based on my text messages to my wife. I arrived at 7:45am. I was the only person in the shop. I chatted with the owner about what I would like and ordered at 7:50. Because I ordered a breakfast melt, she said it would take 5-7 minutes. No problem - I'm not in a rush. There was one employee in the back that was working on prepping scones for March (per my conversation with the owner). Another couple came in and placed their order a few minutes later. The owner made their order and proceeded to stand chatting with them at their table. At 8:13 - I texted my wife saying this is taking forever and noting that the employee from the back noticed I was still sitting there and came over to help get me situated. She made my coffee and my food - while the owner never moved from chatting with the couple. At 8:20 - I was leaving with my freshly made food and coffee. A full 35 minutes after placing my order and being the only customer when I placed my order. As a note: i was within direct eye sight of the owner the entire time I was there - I was trying very hard to be patient since I really did not have much going on that morning.

Comfortable coffee and brunch place right in the downtown Buffalo square. Big, squashy couches and plenty of table space to work on your homework or novel. The decor is eclectic and interesting to the eye, and the music is enjoyable and not blaring so you can have relaxing conversations. The staff has always been friendly and attentive, and they make an excellent mocha. Make sure to check for specials if you're hungry.
