We came out for a birthday party last week, the host called 2 weeks prior to set it up, talked to a bartender and then a manager. Bartender was nothing but rude and basically flat out refused to serve us. Bar claimed no reservations were made, and then bashed his employees before even trying to utter a half-ass apology. Will not be back.

Robbing people serving them a regular cranberry drink and charging them full price for alcohol. Overpriced. Boring. If you’re old and don’t have a huge crowd with you this the place for you. But younger generations I wouldn’t even waste your time.

I don't know how the service or food is because I never got that far! We were turned away, which was really frustrating but I didn't care enough to leave a review. My reasoning for leaving a review NOW is, the owners response to my friends experience at this location for her birthday party. What are reviews for if the owner is just going to call all their friends to leave 5 star reviews anytime someone has a bad experience? My friends called over a week in advance for this birthday party and we were looked at like we were stupid when we showed up... They claimed we never called and told us to leave. 🤷♀️ But today, you'll also see new reviews of events that happened YEARS AGO that are 5 stars to flood out the bad review of this incident. Just doesn't sit right with me. Thanks for reading. 🙏

We have rented the Tavern Hall several times. The atmosphere is great and the customer service was great. The ya re always improving the space and try hard to meet every accommodations that are within reason. I will continue to go back and recommend you give them a try!

Really enjoy this local hangout for lunch on weekdays and dinner and drinks in the evening. The first time we went in for dinner, there was one person there working and the kitchen was closed, but she offered to make us some of the easier items on the menu if we didn’t mind waiting for the grill and the fryer to heat up. We didn’t take her up on it, but sure were impressed. She wasn’t the owner or the manager even! The food we have had here since was good and portions are generous. Nice pool tables, outdoor patio, good drinks with a fair pour, friendly staff and customers. Event space is nice and affordable. Management is easy to work with. Friday night karaoke is fun.
Whether you’re looking for a quick bite to eat or somewhere to go to party the night away, the Alley is the perfect place to do both. Butler is very lucky to have them and the owners have done a ton of work to make it such a great place. And don’t think for one second that because it’s a tavern that they do not have good food… their food is WONDERFUL! Service is always fast & friendly as well!

Showed up to our friends bday party and waited over 20 minutes to not get served drinks. Other people in our party had been waiting even way longer than us. What makes it worse is they gave a weeks notice to the bar that we would be there. And unfortunately this isn't the first time we've experienced slow service. We ended up leaving and spending our money elsewhere. Very disappointing.

Hosted a party for 50 people here for my dad’s bday- a wonderful and memorable event! Booked this venue 30 days in advance with the team via email with all details. Called a week prior to make sure we were good to go. They were great setting up extra tables and accommodating. This is a small staff but the team was helpful and friendly and overall great! So wonderful to have a nice place in my home town.
