I love kohens bakery. My problem is since moving out of town is that i am only ever available to come down on Sundays or Mondays. I miss the donuts. I’ve been craving kohens for 2 years. I just wish I could go down during their hours to get their yummy food. Kohens could you please make an exception and open on Sundays after church?

Flew into KC this morning from ORL. Driving through to work in Joplin. So I looked up a generic donut shop and started on my way. Saw a sign that promised heaven in the form of a bakery so I took it as a sign… no pun intended.
Soon I was pulling up to fresh baked deliverance. The inside was warm and inviting. Staff were friendly and quick to help. All I ended up getting were the donuts. Got a half dozen and a lrg coffee for $11.59
The Donuts were incredible! Fresh and delicious. The kind of delicious you pray you’ll get when you break for 6 donuts after weeks of boiled chicken and broccoli ;)
I recommend getting the regular chocolate glaze and the lemon blueberry. The classic donuts with a hole, the only kind you can get in the dozen or half dozen, were more than good enough. Don’t feel cheated by not getting to select from the crazier flavors. Fresh, soft, and decadent!
If you decide to stop you’ll enjoy.
Oh yeah, the coffee was basic. Wasn’t upset because it was hot and the quality of the donuts made up for it.

Just stopped for lunch. Servings are extremely generous and fresh filled. Everything tasted good, hearty and delicious. The bakery is also filled with every baked treat you could wish for EVER! Definitely recommend

Worth the stop for sure. The selection is amazing. It is really hard to choose. I got a tray of iced cookies and I regret not getting more. The donuts are also delicious. I am definitely coming back next time I'm in the area.
