We've eaten there a few times. I think this place will do well. There is a large, full menu. The food is good.

Mary's Asian Diner is a hidden gem that you might easily overlook. Once discovered, it becomes a fantastic spot for either takeout or dining in. While the aesthetics might not be fancy, the freshly made food and the exceptionally kind and friendly owners make it a delightful experience. They even remember your name, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. It's my hope that more people will notice this little gem. Personally, I can't get enough of their Hunan chicken - it's simply delicious!

I haven't eaten Asian food out in a long time and just cook it at home. I get reactions from the food additives and the food isn't usually that good... Until now!It is Christmas Eve and we were driving. I was starving and there was nothing open. So we found this tiny place with a small parking lot. We almost didn't go in.I'm so glad we did. The food is GREAT, affordable, and quick. They were full, but we still got a table and the food was fast. The two front of house employees seemed to know everyone there who seemed to be regulars. One older gentlemen came in with others and said to the super friendly lady "I brought 6 with me today". When she left them with the menus, he kept telling them that everything is good.I got the large pepper steak which came with super yummy-lish crab rangoons and an egg roll. The pepper steak was a clean, full taste. It tasted authentic and not from a spice mix or commercial sauce. The steak was SO tender! Incredibly so. We will DEFINITELY be back. Also, from now on, no one gets 5 stars if the place smells strongly of cleaning chemicals. This place did not! Great job guys.

I feel like there could be more rice with combo meals, other than that. I enjoyed my experience.

The food was hot and delicious! The soups were a big portion, not a small cup like other Chinese restaurants. The service was top notch! Jenna was super friendly, greeted us with a smile and checked on us regularly. We highly recommend Mary's and will definitely be back when we are in the area!

The service was good, no complaints there. But after reading all these RAVING reviews I was expecting a FANTASTIC meal and was very underwhelmed and unimpressed once we got there. The food is bland and several of the chicken dishes all just tasted the same with no real differentiation between flavors which was boring. The rice was plain and bland. In reality this place is no different that China Grove or Oriental Hut in Mountain Grove but Mary's is SIGNIFICANTLY pricier than any asian restaurant I've eaten at in a while and that includes Springfield prices. Overall, I'm not sure if the folks leaving raving reviews are friends of the owner or just don't know good food when they see it but we were all sorely disappointed in the food especially for the price being charged. It's okay and it's something different for the little town of Cabool but by no means is it anywhere near the 'best asian food in Southern Missouri' as one reviewer put. Houston's Panda House has SIGNIFICANTLY better food for less money and it's only 20 minutes Northeast of Cabool. That's where I would go.
