This place is great in every way except one and that is the food is just ok, patio is absolutely amazing and the service was great
The restaurant is cute & the outdoor seating area is nice. The food was just mediocre. The burger definitely wasn’t good at all.
Small town, great atmoshphere, great food. Love it.

My wife and I had the smoked pork black bean chili it was literally the best chili I’ve ever had in my life and they bring you a little French loaf of bread with some really nice seasoned butter with it very reasonable price and like I said sit on the patio and look out over the Norman Rockwell town it looks like it needs to be in a Christmas card postcard !!!
It was a very enjoyable experience. We never felt rushed and they were always very accommodating. They have a large menu with lots of different options. We would return the next time we are in Westin.
Lunch at Avalon Cafe was delightful and delicious. We experienced the chicken kabobs with rice, hamburger, and a Bloody Mary. This is a must do in Weston! EXCELLENT!
Great food!! Friendly.
The Avalon Cafe was recommended by a local couple for brunch, and it did not disappoint! The staff was excellent! Our waitress was at our table every few minutes, but didn't hover. The other staff members discreetly walked by to pour coffee and water if needed. We sat outside in the patio and it was just a perfect morning! My spouse and I split a crab cake appetizer. The crab was nice and flaky, and the sauce was marvelous. The cafe also provided bread with butter and jam, very tasty. My spouse ordered the sirloin with a Brie frittata. It was so good! The steak was cooked perfectly, and had a nice flavor of smoke and grill. The frittata was light and fluffy, the Brie was creamy, and the scallions added a nice bite. I ordered the brioche French toast, with potatoes and bacon. The French toast had that lovely crisp outer shell, and the middle melted in my mouth. The bacon was a tad over cooked, but still delicious. The potatoes were a little bland. Everything else was seasoned so well, I was surprised they didn't have a little fresh thyme or rosemary to perk them up(not a meal breaker though). This was, by far, the best place we ate in Weston! I would love to have another meal there!
Great food for a fantastic price!!! Totally worth it and enjoyed chatting. Would recommend 110% and will return when back in town.
Avalon Cafe is located in a historic home in the charming town of Weston, MO. The food was delicious and was served very quickly. Friendly, attentive service too. Take some time to explore Weston while you’re there.
Dined here for dinner. All that we ordered was excellently prepared. Ambiance was really nice. Our steaks in particular were fantastic!
Burgers are delicious!!! Nice people great service!
The place to be. Always a delight to be at Main St. Cafe!
My 4 friends and I wanted to spend a weekend in Weston, and after reading restaurant reviews, we decided to make reservations at Avalon Cafe. I ordered herb crusted salmon with artichoke and sun-dried tomato chutney. My salmon was poached and it was undercooked. One friend who ordered the boar described the meat as "very chewy." Two friends ordered pasta dishes (linguine with seafood and chicken with penne), and they really enjoyed their meals. A 4th friend ordered the ostrich sirloin, and he described the meat as unseasoned and tasteless. I ordered bread pudding for dessert, and it could best be described as cinnamon oatmeal. The staff was fairly attentive, but we had to ask for water refills twice. We will not return.
