Food came out cold waitress took it back to kitchen and never replaced it or offered anything else. Then the manager tries to charge us for it!’ Told her I was not paying for it and she chased us out the door yelling. I have never ever been treated so rudely I’m my life. Even if I could get over the monster “Karen” of a manger …the food is terrible, restaurant looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in years, wait staff are children that are afraid to speak probably from being abused by that manager. It was awful! You couldn’t pay me to go there ever again. Seriously I would rather eat a gas station hotdog then step foot in that place again.

The most unprofessional excuse of a manager that I have ever seen, and has no business in any part of the service industry. Cold food, room temperature at best. and if you send it back, you are not offered a replacement, and are also still expected to pay for it even though you didn't eat any of it ! And I don't know who told this place that the pizza they make is good, but last time I checked, pizza with no sauce is just cheese bread ! not to mention watching a server wipe their nose with their hand and continue to work without washing. refilling glasses at the soda machine instead of getting a clean one i can only imagine what the kitchen looks like, especially with all food handling without gloves or hairnets Ever heard of ServeSafe ? And as far as the manager that was working on Sunday 3-27-2022 she belongs in no part of the service industry regardless of the type of business !!! We will never be back, or ever recommend this place to anyone !!!

Service from the waitress was very unprofessional and disrespectful. Walked in with my employee to buy breakfast. We sat down and after 5 minutes she came out got herself a drink and went back in kitchen. 10 min. later a guy walks in and she came out and ask if he is gonna have the usual, he says yes and she grabs him a coffee. She goes back to kitchen to put his order in and we waited about 3 min. and left. Very Poor Service. Will not ever support them again. I can see why so many have stop supporting them.

When you walk in and the place smells like grease that’s probably an indication to not eat there.The french fries are probably the worst I’ve ever had in my life. So greasy! I couldn’t eat them.I also had fish and hush puppies and green beans.The green beans were edible but I couldn’t even take a bite of hush puppy.The fish was mediocre. Not the worst I’ve had, but not the best I’ve had.I noticed, as our server was clearing my plate, she had another plate in her hand, that was filled with (what looked like) a half-eaten open faced roast beef sandwich and mashed potatoes. Apparently another is customer didn’t like their meal either.The only reason I gave this place one star was, our server was extremely sweet.

I was in Caledonia this past weekend with a friend who lives in that area. We stopped in at the 1965 Cafe for lunch. It was very busy with an hour wait. We ended up putting in an order for carry out and we continued to shop around the cute shops on the street. They called us when our food was ready, which was a very nice touch. I had the 1/4 hamburger and fries, which had to be one of the best burgers I have ever had. My friend had the cheesesteak sandwich and fried apples and she could not stop talking about how wonderful they both were. Definitely was a good choice to do carry out, it was a lovely day and we sat at the tables in the patio area a door or two down from the cafe.
