Food was great and soccer was on the TV. The bartender did not understand simple English as we tried ordering through her. She had to get whom I assume is the Manager/ Owner to complete the ordering process. If you can't understand English in America, bartending in a popular tourist area isn't the right job for you.
This isn't a racist review at all, just a suggestion that I'm sure others would agree on. We would recommend checking it out and we'll possibly go back if we're in the area but it's a hassle ordering a drink and the server doesn't even know what you're saying. Also, nobody even checked to see how we were doing, or how the food was, I hope they read this and take it to heart. Teach her and she'll do great.

The food did not taste anything like Mexican food. It was smokey like it was cookedin bacon grease and very greasy!!! The meat is chopped so small you did not taste it at all. We couldn't eat it. Paid $32.00 for 2 Bowls!!! 1 chicken,1 steak. Not the best in town!!!!!

Taqueria Hernandez is the real deal!! From the quesadillas, to the tacos, to the burrito bowls, to the tamales. This is, hands down, my favorite Mexican food in Missouri!! Real, Fresh ingredients, And amazing flavors all wrapped into a food truck experience!! Not to mention, Leo and his Dad are great guys!! I can't get enough of their food!! Go, tonight!! And thank me later!!

Today was my first time eating here and the tacos were amazing! Affordable and very quick! Can’t wait to get some tamales tomorrow! Highly recommend this truck!

This is the best food in town! If they are open this is a no brainer. Really good Burritos, I had the Medium (the large is LARGE) Steak Burrito with both kinds of salsa. There is even a nice covered spot to eat outside.
