This is the second time we've been waited on by Mary the owner's wife. Both times she was extremely rude. She took our order and then sat down in a booth and watched her phone with the volume so high we could barely hear each other talk. Some kind of Turkish music. The other waitress brought our food out, took our empty plates, and refilled our coffee. When we went to pay our bill the other waitress was taking an order and Mary saw me standing there, but continued to watch her phone. After a few minutes, she got up, but she was extremely rude. Needless to say, I don't think we'll be visiting there again. She really needs to work on her customer service skills. I've heard others complain about her. It doesn't make me want to come back anytime soon. The window seals had flies and there was food all over the floor and the booths were dirty. Nobody was cleaning up. I saw two employees on their phones. Thanks for the hospitality Mary, we won't be coming back.

I went here with my cousin. I am glad he suggested it. I ordered the chopped steak with mashed potatos and brown gravy and a salad. Everything was done perfectly. The mattress was nice. They had really good tasting tea. My cousin had half a fried chicken and a salad . It looked great, and he said it tasted great . One reason for going was to verify for ourselves that on Fridays, throughout the lent season, they have walleye on Fridays. Now I am going to have to try that and if I get to I will add to this review. The dinner was very clean and neat and the staff pleasant and helpful. I look forward to going back and I hope you give them a try too.

We ended up at the Flame Diner moments after a horrible visit at another restaurant in the area. This was our first time there and we're pleasantly surprised! Our server was awesome, very friendly, and knowledgeable of the menu. Our food came out quickly - the Wisconsin cheeseburger was delicious and my husband loved his breakfast! Highly recommend ?

This place is so yummy. Down home food and home style feel. The hash stack was perfect hash browns, breakfast meats, sausage gravy, eggs, and cheese was more than filling and could only eat 1/2. It also comes with Vlore cinnamon bread that melts in your mouth. They have lunch and dinner specials and pie. Wonderful place to eat that won’t disappoint.
Friendly service from the moment we entered. Food was hot and delicious. Desert was Blackberry cobbler ala mode, I'll get it again!
